Most of the complaints about First Class that I've seen so far are really, really nitpicky
like I mean the whole Angel/Pixie thing? It's clear she isn't the same character because it is the damn 1960s and will likely be a minor character at best
It's clear that Fox isn't ready to reboot the X-Men quite yet, which is good because jesus christ so many reboots, and I'd really rather them either do what they have done with First Class and flesh out the past of the series or move ahead with new characters instead of cheap revivals just so we can get Cyclops, Jean and whoever back.

I remember seeing this scene in theaters and just being thrown back by how amazing is was.
I think, looking back on X-Men: the Last Stand my favorite scene from it is where this dialogue is spoken.
Quill: [to Magneto] You talk pretty tough for a guy in a cape. Pyro: [ignites a fireball] Back off. Callisto: You're so proud of being a mutant, where's your mark? Magneto: I have been marked once, my dear and let me assure you, no needle shall ever touch my skin again. [pulls up sleeve to reveal tattoos from his time in a Nazi Concentration Camp]
and I disagree. I think there's potential left. Bring in the New Mutants for potential recruits as well as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Have Storm and Wolverine lead Xavier's and Wanda and Pietro take over Magneto's positon(since the last minute wuss outs in Last Stand are awful).
Really my favorite part of the X-Men is the whole teacher/student generational thing. No other superhero team has that dynamic, or at least not as thoroughly. The fact that the original X-Men went on to raise the next generation who in turn have become their own team that is working with their teachers to teach the next generation.

What exactly does Logan teach at the institute?
"Looks like Professor Wolverine is teaching Japanese 101, Geography 107 and Murderology 269."

New X-Men by Grant Morrison.
She's not a very enjoyable character.
she is Beak's girlfriend from New X-Men
I will never forgive Grant Morrison for Beak
NEVER
Anyone looking forward to the new Omega Flight book? I'm sure I ain't the only one.
Good, yes.
But so good? I'm SLIGHTLY LESS SURE.

the sixties
but really
it looks pretty interesting and is fairly different from most other superhero flicks, I'm excited
The trailers have sold me on going to see this movie, even though I wasn't thrilled about the idea when it was announced.
that didnt stop them from putting Havok and Emma and Beast in it
Great.
Now I want Agent Brand in a Marvel movie, and it will never happen, and I will be disappointed. This is all your fault.
Why I fear the ocean.
You really would prefer that they say "NEVERMIND, Cyclops, Iceman and the others were totally alive back then"
Ignoring the awful Wolverine movie because it is awful
this was physically painful to watch
I believe I already stated what I would prefer

despite it making zero sense for any other them other than Wolverine and the two people who are already in the movie
The very first preference I stated was that they nuke the franchise from orbit
I didn't read that!
