wow, this was quite the productive day yesterday wasn't it? Apologies to my team my car broke down and I was unable to get online before narration close, so I was pretty much a non entity yesterday. I'll be posting much more today, now that I'm nice and comfy next to a computer.
Also I think not caring wether we hit mafia or other factions is a silly silly idea. We need to hit the mafia with a higher rate than other villagers. The mafia are in the most powerful position in the game right now, if we dont' take them down a couple notches they will win. Especially early in the game we need to try to get at least a few kills in before we start sniping each other if we dont' you aren't helping your faction win, your just helping the mafia.
So what you're saying Mr. JDarkSun is that we should kill each other off and weaken each other and let the Mafia have easy picking in finish us all off.

You're playing a faction game. There are four factions (and the cheaters). The faction with the most medals at the end of the game wins. There is no mention of eliminating the Mafia as a condition for victory. There wasn't even a Mafia kill last night (why aren't we talking about this more?).
But I think you understand this. Killing off a rival team's member is sure to help your team. Would you be so gung-ho if a team member was suspected? I wonder.
Look we either encourage people to post more often and forgive them for sometimes being off the mark because we're only human and the village is an uninformed mob. Or people need to shut up about the village being inactive if we aren't allowed to make mistakes or post useless posts.
Part of the reason we want people to post is because it's hard to lie consistently. The quieter we allow the Mafia to be, the easier it is for them to skate by to victory. When people make mistakes, that's usually the sign of something. Does it mean that you're mafia because you misread the narration? No, that's stupid. It doesmean that your event isn't Archery (the public knowing this may be dangerous for you, but that's a different issue). You could be Mafia, but the concept of the Mafia being an informed minority makes it seem less likely to me.
Now, could someone explain this Anialos thing to me? The only analysis of the situation I've read is from that of INA "megamole" NTP, who has a vested interest in defending moles. Though the cat's already out of that bag, and the only damage would be if people were stupid enough to post their events.
Getting a quick two line vote on the first target to sound good (Matev's comment right above his) and a meeting-post-restriction post immediately out of the way after the narration doesn't paint you in a favorable light, stever777.
BTW, the following people are currently lurking the forums. By that, I mean that they has a "last active" timestamp of at least 1:45 (about the time when Anialos changed from talking like he was doomed and that nothing he could say would stop the hivemind to giving up Mill) but are not posting here or in any other forum. If he does turn up mafia, one or more of these people were likely around to talk to him.

My strategy here is to try and squeeze in shots at 2 members of each team, including my own - and regardless of evidence. From there I will add 4 more names from the group as a whole. There are only, like, 4 of these targets I actually have suspicions of...

We were supposed to do archery in my Junior year of HS but the weather didn't cooperate & we ended up doing dodge-ball.

They're kinda the same, just instead of targets you have people and instead of arrows you get balls! Also I think chasing after people for being online at times is silly. I leave the forum open on my computer all the time, mabye I'm playign a game or not even in the same room as it. It really doesnt' prove they where there unless they posted.
I used to hide my status, when Darian told me why, but, eh, I don't mind being known as on or off.
I'm in plenty of other games that it may be useful for the other players, as a courtesy.
