i'm pretty sure australia has about thirteen mexicans
I'm mostly messing with phare, but it's fresh, and it's spicy, the servings are generous without you feeling bloated, and good variety in mexican joints you can visit, and damn if the price ain't right.

sydney and melbourne have been doing this whole mexican THING the past couple of years.
It'll blow over soon and suddenly there'll be Burmese restaurants everywhere or something.
Actually I think the transition was already beginning last time I was over. Suddenly Arepa joints were springing up from nowhere; this might herald a move to the more southern of the americas. Keep an eye out for a wave of Peruvian cuisine.

Excuse me?!
It was just okay. Good. Passable. I wouldn't mention it on my highlights when I got back but wouldn't say that'd be the reason to go there.

Damned if I've seen it here. The best I've had has to be Taco Bill's in Melbourne.

oh come on, they even LOOK like walking pot roasts.
they literally just whack the guinea pig in the oven whole and serve it to you on a plate, on its back, its little feet sticking up in the air
i didn't eat very much
They are instead monsters wearing human skin.
That's right, I draw the line at guinea pigs.
You understand that Mexican people emigrate all over the world, right? There's two Mexican restaurants in my suburb that make fucking amazing food.
Still asked for it light on the spice because I'm a sissy.
I like Chicken Tikka Masala.
so you're saying all native peruvians are inhuman monsters
real nice, uriel, real nice
also ceviche is super delicious. all the rest of the food in peru is pretty crap but you can't go wrong with ceviche
Not... Wait.
They are misguided... That's all.
What? That's crazy.
