So X-Men is probably out by the time you read this and is getting pretty good reviews.

We're getting a Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
What is even going on?
I also liked how they gave Mystique a lot more to do and made her more important to the plot.
I think the movie was exceptionally well done given the fact that they couldn't do a real reboot and had to deal with the old continuity.
pleasant surprise for a movie I hadnt originally intended on seeing
Comic and movie spoilers
Speaking of, I really hope he'll be in Age of Apocalypse. Guy was always my favourite X-Man.

It's not the age of blockbuster. It's not even the age of heroes, Scottsman. It's the age of miracles, and nothing is more terrifying than a miracle.
Except a raccoon with a machine gun.
Why I fear the ocean.
I feel like they kinda fucked this up ((though the movie was pretty excellent, go see it.))
I love south american ground karate
I bet there's a planned/deleted ending where
GotG will be the big one, of course - I hope its as good as the trailers have been.
I love south american ground karate
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK! This was...man...hes one of my favorite directors and....Why fucking why?
Marvel please don't start being shitty now please I beg you
They said it was amicable, and the past times they've mentioned something of the kind they've been on the level.
I mean, sucks. But it could just be a simple "I don't work well with improvisation" "We don't work well without improv" "Well, shit. Well, hope it works out." with no ill will from either party.
Why I fear the ocean.
wowowowow
Just The Avengers 2 and Ant-Man and a Fantastic Four movie that will be shit and I'm still not convinced is actually happening
I like the idea behind the 2099 universe, so you'd think I'd grab the new Spider-Man 2099 right? Except O'hara isn't super interesting to me, and it takes place in modern times, so I'm not sure I actually want it and at this point I'd just be buying it to go "More 2099 stuff plz!" I think I'll trade wait on it.
but they could do so much better
like the actual voice should be more metallic
This quote from the writer though pretty much sealed the deal against it for me though
does assassin's creed count as a superhero movie
Well, sort of
It'll be about the making of an Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender of X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past fame
abstergo entertainment logo in front
in memory of warren vidic in the credits
about the only risk they're taking with that movie is that only one of the sidekicks is a talking animal, the other one is a plant
i mean i'll still go and see it
Not people who know who Galactus is
Fuckin nerds
"storm" considered too comic-booky a surname, changed to "smith"
mole man now the leader of a terrorist cell that is figuratively underground
sue smith is the sexy stealth ninja
johnny smith uses a flamethrower
ben grimm is really strong
It's not about risks, it's about them making a movie about a bunch of c and d list characters that JUST happened to be brought together for a couple years in the previous decade. If Keith Griffen and DnA hadn't done the 2000 era cosmic stuff, we'd probably be looking at a Quasar or Captain Marvel movie if Marvel really wanted to do something cosmic.
"we should have code names. mine can be, i dunno, the... some... thing? the... thing? we shouldn't have code names"
"man, i'm going to clobber that guy."
"clobber? who says clobber in this day and age? what are you, a comic book character?"
"you're right, guys. i'm sorry. i'm letting the team down"
"i can't get this flame to turn on. oh, there we go" *accidentally kills a civilian*
You know?
I'd be pretty okay with Quasar (the Phyla-Vell version) showing up if GotG gets a sequel.
"Man, this tactical bodyarmor is great, but it's not comfortable at all."
"What, would you prefer blue spandex?"
