The first academy product from MLS to play for the USMNT played a ton today, and played well (DeAndre Yedlin). As the league grows and builds the infrastructure to help young players improve, we'll see more of them in USA shirts.

I don't see why not; seems like ever game I watch with Euro teams in them there's a couple players who could have/did play for various African national teams.

the US had pretty convincing stamina I have to say. Belgium was exhausted as hell at the end. Wonder if more teams will be pushing stamina training now.
