Eve is only good if you can get an early devil deal so she is in perma-Babylon mode. That isn't too hard, but at that point you're basically a weaker Azael.

Took Azazel to my first Cathedral victory.

Didn't get more of the polaroid revealed for some reason.

It took Cathedral wins to unlock it before, but I guess now you have to kill Satan to do it?

or maybe each character can only unlock one fragment, and I already beat Satan with him before

screwed a decent samson run to unlock the guppy's hairball which is one of like, 3 things i never unlocked in the original game

and uh... i think i broke the game now i just got a loading screen that won't go away

i lied about that run, i don't know what happened but somehow samson just went nuts and i got a satan kill despite not unlocking sheol yet, so yay cool good

oh and i just closed/relaunched the game and it let me continue from where i was, the infinite loading screen seems like a bug that may trigger when you turn into guppy

Yeah, one really nice thing about Rebirth is that a freeze or crash doesn't necessarily kill the run.

However, whatever caused the crash will cause it again. I had a fortune machine causing crashes, and it would reliably crash after exactly four payments each time. You could actually use that to your advantage to kinda-sorta savescum since your seed is the same and all random events will have the same outcome so you know which rooms to avoid, where the secret rooms are. etc.

i killed mom's heart in seconds

still couldn't beat mom's heart but thanks to flight and a lot of hp I was able to beat isaac's bosh rush

also unlocked maggy, cain, and a number of items today, and upgraded the store to the 100 coin mark

i've found the.... something. bandaged up demon guy with horns and flying and shit. he uses a curvey brimstone attack and uh, it basically always hit me. i found that guy to be the hardest both times i've fought him.

Adversary, i believe...and yeah, less than super fun. The curvey brimstone can be kinda avoided if you're close-ish...so then he'll do a ground slam that does damage in a co-incentric wave.
