Yeah, I did Computer Savvy the other night, and now I have RoboBaby 2.0 unlocked. Its weird, because I have to control it with the right stick, and he shoots lasers at things near him.
I don't like it much, since I'm trying to aim tears at the same time. Maybe with something like Ludovaco Technique, it would be alright.
fittingly my first eden run was also my first cathedral clear
starting with flight was pretty good, but the real hero was that item that gives you manual control over a single tear, that + flying let me pretty much park my tear over most bosses and then hide in a corner
Got an Eden Satan kill thanks to Brimstone, Dark Bum, and a White Pony near the end, though I ran through Sheol with Tammy's Head because hahahahahaha that is a fun combination.

Killed Mom's Heart for the first time with Cain, and this strange, but supremely powerful horde:
Includes:
-Dark Bum, who is absurdly powerful. There's a reason hearts don't go off the screen now.
-Rotting baby that launchs attack flies.
-Bobby's Brain, a bomb like attack that refreshs every 5 seconds or so.
-Big Friendly fly, who explodes, and comes back.
-2 pretty flies.
-cube of meat.
Also have Pentragram, squeezy, brass knuckes, a health up mushroom, several speed and range upgrades, and of course, Book of Shadows. Popped it, dropped some bombs and face-tanked it. Took about 10 to 15 seconds.
Should I open the chest, or go down into the devil room?
FYI whatever you would have unlocked for beating Mom's Heart that time still gets unlocked, you just don't get the ending animation to show it if you go visit Sheol instead.

Ha. Me too.
Okay, technically my first Eden run was starting with what had to have been the minimum possible damage stat, accidentally picking up a moon, and dying immediately. But the first one AFTER that.
I wound up with bucketloads of attack speed, but not a single damage upgrade, which made the run really tedious. Normally I would have just taken the chest under those conditions, but I also had max soul hearts, the Wafer (all damage reduced to half a heart), the mask that provides some nebulous sort of damage resistance, and three Pretty Flies. I think I might have been literally immune to the Cathedral boss's bullets due to some combination of these.
Actually, I just looked it up and Infamy alone is straight-up immunity to projectiles from the front. Which basically translates into immunity to the Cathedral boss entirely, and immunity to the bulk of the Mom's Heart's stuff. For a long time I thought it was just damage resistance or a chance to negate attacks from the front.
I know a lot of the nastier stuff in the game isn't projectile-based, but even so, that seems pretty frigging broken.

Lucky foot and PhD both eliminate bad pills, unless you've already had bad ones before getting one of those powerups.
Can has the lucky foot by default so he never gets bad pills.
If you somehow manage to get both a lucky foot AND a PhD, you can make a killing at the arcade.
lucky foot doesn't do that anymore in rebirth btw
Pills were the main reason I played Cain
cain got highly nerfed in the process
urgh
What have we got from this loss
Waka Waka was hilarious.
i mean i can understand why with some challenges, but that one was 100% brimstone and damage upgrades, not the stuff they started me with
It's a streak of two, but that's something!
I forget if i need one or two more to unlock It Lives, but we'll see.
I had the opportunity to try the boss rush and maybe should have done it
but I was getting so frustrated about so many failed tries to even get to the womb I wasn't going to risk it
I did the boss rush without knowing it was a boss rush because some jerk told me to go left without warning me.
And then I beat it.
ahahah god dammit
I was having dinner, and this made me choke.

Pretty sure that's only supposed to happen if you have the x1 life bonus.
Life you get Guppy's Collar or the Anhk.

If you use the bible to get past mom's heart and bring it with you into Sheol?
Do not use it on Satan.
That is all.
I did not learn the patterns fast enough
Do you have to clear two whole areas (four floors) without taking damage?
