I was in the garabage in the big compound to the east of Agropom entrance and my vision kept getting focused/unfocused. I don't know why though.

I'm going to upgrade my computer next month so I may play it then before Clear Sky, but I think I'd rather wait to help keep the new release fresh. OL is still in development, right? It can only get better.
I vote Stolls, with a few blurbs about his mod pack and other mods and using them with Steam. By far the most-asked question. And throw something in there about how the atmosphere rocks but it's kind of buggy and needs a little investment in time.
Is there a tranq gun in OL? Occasionaly I'll get hit from out of nowhere and my vision gets blurry, dims, then fades to gray for a few seconds before reverting to normal. At first it I thought it was a blowout... but it doesnt last nearly as long and there are no other effects.

No tranq gun...although that sounds like the effects from being somewhat close to a controller. If your armor has a high Psi rating and you're still getting it, then I dunno.
Also, you could be passing out from not sleeping. Supposedly happens when you don't sleep for three days or so.

That's either the way they handle being sleep-deprived or a bug.
Try using your sleeping bag in a safe place.
If it's a Controller, try giving him vodka, as the old S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s tale goes.
Edit: I've PM'd Stolls and politely asked if they'd be willing to create the new thread. I don't know if it's okay or would be bad to keep posting in this one, so perhaps a night of patience and playing lots of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is in order.
Speaking of the misquote in the thread's title, one neat thing I noticed about Oblivion Lost is they tweaked that guy's dialog, so the first time you walk up he simply says, "Come in, don't stand there!" If you do linger, that's when he says, "I said come in!"

I have an unquenchable thirst for STALKER. I can't stop replaying the original one... If they released one STALKER game a week, I would play ALL of them.
