The plan is to get rich quick, outpacing the runner so you can Midseasons them and then kill them. Since they can only steal one agenda per turn they can't get a lucky, fast win and since you're running almost all 1-pointers they can't score quickly either, giving you time to get rich and get the kill combo in hand. It works ok, but Imp and Film Critic hurt it. It's loads of fun to play, though, and I took fourth in a tournament with it over the weekend.

That sounds like a really fun deck. Mind posting the deck list?

    Here you go.
    Haarpsichord Special delivery (49 cards)

    Haarpsichord Studios

    Agenda (17)
    3 AstroScript Pilot Program
    3 Breaking News
    3 False Lead
    2 Gila Hands Arcology
    3 Profiteering
    3 TGTBT

    Asset (3)
    3 Jackson Howard

    Operation (21)
    1 Anonymous Tip
    3 Hedge Fund
    3 Midseason Replacements
    3 Restructure
    3 Scorched Earth ••••• ••••• ••
    2 Snatch and Grab
    3 Sweeps Week
    3 Traffic Accident •••

    Barrier (2)
    2 Wraparound

    Code Gate (3)
    3 Pop-up Window

    Sentry (3)
    3 Data Raven

    Built with http://netrunner.meteor.com/

Anonymous Tip is there to make getting the kill combo faster (used to run 3 of them, but dropped two for ...) and Snatch and Grab is there to kill Film Critic if she shows up, because she bones the deck hard. Also nice to have around to kill someone's Pro Contacts or Aesops to give them an economy speedbump. Very little ice. Only Wraparound to force a Corroder install, Data Ravens to make them cautious and maybe plant a tag, pop-up windows for economy. Score agendas while you can, play every economy card you see, don't feel bad about pitching agendas into archives (especially multiple TGTBT, as these will stack tags on the runner), as the runner can only steal one a turn.

I'm trying to figure out how I can make this into a Psychobeale deck, dumping the Weyland kill cards and loading up on some more economy with the spare influence, dropping the Astros for Beales and keeping the same general idea (get rich, Midseasons at the right time) and then overadvancing via Psychographics a Beale in one turn for like a billion points instead of going for the combo kill. It'd be more expensive, because you'd need fifteen creds to score the Beale, and they can still bring Clot out to stop it, but I kinda like the idea.

And who would bring Clot out after a single install with no advancements? Install, Psychographics, win. No paid ability window for them to bring out the Clot except for directly after the install, and who is expecting a Psychobeale deck these days?

EDIT: thinking about it this isn't really as viable, because even in a tournament where scouting is prohibited you won't be able to keep the fact that you're running a Psychobeale deck secret, so the first opponent won't know, but the ones later probably will. You can still bluff out the clot, but it seems dicier than a straight kill. Plus the Astros give you an alternate path to winning.

At the tournament I killed two guys, Astrotrained a third and lost with the deck three times, twice being out-monied by a rich Kate and a cautious, rich Noise who both knew what kind of deck I was running.

It's probably not top tier, but it's good.

PS It's not an original idea of mine, but I changed out a few cards after playing it for a couple of weeks from the original.

I take my exams on my macbook pro, it's just way too heavy and delicate to lug around daily anymore. I just need something that can quickly take legible notes down and download outlines from outline banks

It's kind of funny how I've been gravitating towards smaller and smaller (by model count) war games over time.

Started with Warhammer Fantasy, then 40k, then Warmachine/Hordes where you very rarely went above 50 models, and that was as a large horde army.

Then Infinity, where you have 8-15 dudes.

And now I'm interested in Malifaux, where a big list is like ten guys.
