I usually think of my life as being broken up by periods of sleep. I guess that's how traditional adventure games like Final Fantasy do it, you know, you sleep and save at an inn, that kind of thing. But now I'm going to try to think of it as broken up by crapping.
I think you take a leak to save in Dead Rising, don't you?
Now THAT is a creative, original title. Innovative, original, and pure substance (aka "gameplay"). Not a minigame, not a watered-down sequel, but actually a good piece of concept-driven art.
I am seriously amazed by this, despite the simple presentation.
what was defender refering to here? all i get is a link to gametrailer's homepage.
Yeah, the link was valid when I posted it and now it's not there.
EchoChrome. It's a PS3-only game, probably like a $10 downloadable thing, where you basically navigate Escher paintings. It's just such an awesome concept.
EDIT: Whoops, Sony-only. Because it's on PSP and PS3 downloadable, I think.
Alternate guess is the God of War remake or whatever.
Wrong on both counts.
How would a God of War remake be creative and original? How is God of War "pure substance"? Seriously, you think God of War doesn't have a strong "style" component?

It was a joke answer.
There is no God of War remake.
I thought maybe you didn't realize that the PSP game was not a remake.

No More Heroes has been one game I've held out hope for throughout the Wii's continual disappointment. It looks like it might be funny, weird, visually interesting, and have some pretty decent action scenes.
except for all the retarded 15 and 16 year old psychopaths who will use any means, hook or crook, to get their grubby little hands on it, no matter what the rating actually is
and then the media has a fucking field day going balls out berserk about the retailers and game developers instead of yelling at the parents and their retard kids, i guess

Yes. I beat that but I never did complete Twinsen's Odyssey.
Great game.

it's pretty fun so far, but I won't have time to give it a proper play through until Sunday at the earliest

MK64 battle mode is awesome, fuck you.
DoubleDash has a horrible battle mode.
(I buy mario kart games for the battle modes)
quick, someone counter with Jade Raymond or something
NO
SHE IS NOT THE NEW TYRA
Tyra is the new Tyra
Does the VC MarioKart64 come with Battle modes untouched?
That's exactly what happens when I see videos of it. Just joy.
I think the music helps.
Very satisfying final battle. Also, Midna - non-impy...DAMN

I completed the main quest in just under 40 hours. ALOT to do though. The STAR game is fun, especially after you get the double claw shots

that should be a given
Nintendo seems to be working under the philosophy that the side quests and getting 100% in their games are the rewards themselves.
Mario 64: Hey, it's Yoshi! Shit, I can't ride him? Lame. 100 extra lives? What the fuck for, I did everything already.
Sunshine: Oh hey, the "Congratulations!" wallpaper at the end changed. That's it? You've got to be fucking kidding me.
also, sony, microsoft, and nintendo all have policies that prohibit any third party dev from releasing an AO title on their consoles
so rockstar shelved it until they can get it wrangled back down to an M
i don't know what the deal is with AO being the kiss of death
