Being a grocery store employee, I don't know when the vaccine will be available around here but it should be soon, I think, I hope.
Where I work, we're getting a $100 incentive (per shot) toward our paycheck when we get the vaccine, which is pretty nice, although I feel we should be getting far more considering how many times I've had asshole customers come up to me and pull down their mask to bark their fucking orders into my face because "nO oNe CaN hEaR mE wItH tHiS tHiNg On!"

My job hasn't announced any sort of incentive yet, but there have been rumors going around that they're trying to get something set up to get everyone vaccinated once food workers are up.
Also yes people taking their mask down to talk has become my single biggest peeve, I have to tell people to pull their mask up at least ten times a day

My girlfriend got her second Pfizer dose this weekend. She had a really bad headache later that evening and went to bed at like 730, but other than that is fine.

My wife had her second moderna shot Saturday. No side effects except for a small rash around the injection site today. She reported it using the app. Otherwise she’s felt fine.
Just scheduled my first appointment for the 22nd but I gotta drive way out into the boonies to get it.
Whatever I'll take it. Even being in a critical sector actual slots for most places were booked out to December if they were even showing avaliable at all.
We are finally getting to the point where I know a person who can book in for a shot this week, as he's a physiotherapist and is client facing
Of course, the sudden boost of speed is because the government advisory ruled that we can space out shots by up to 4 months between the first and second dose, so I don't know if we'll be adhering to similar guidelines to what the CDC just put out
But hopefully this means my parents will get theirs within the next month, we'll see
With the new risk guidelines my mom, dad, and sister should be in the first half of Phase 2, leaving me to get my first shot in like, June-ish by the current guidelines and my second shot by September, maybe
I still find it wild that places feel the need to offer incentives to employees to get vaccinated. There are no micro chips in them. They won't give you autism. Just go get your vaccines if you can damnit!
I'm all for people getting some extra money for something they were going to do anyway though.

I've been meaning to read it and haven't yet but the Amazon boycott is on so I'm definitely not getting it there. And I don't want to drive to the library still because of the pandemic unless I don't have a better option.

Book Depository is also a good option, and if there is a particular indie bookshop you would like to support, almost all of them do online mail order now (and will order something in for you if they don't have it on the shelf)
I'll be very happy when I can get somewhere to shoot my bow. The closer location is not really accessible during the winter or if the ground is too damp. I have to park in a field, so if it's damp or muddy, there's a good chance I would get my car stuck

I've wanted to change my arrow set up to something with less mass, to extend my range, and have had ideas and inclinations bouncing around my head for what feels like an eternity but it's actually "only" been four months i think
