Did you feel that the frankly terrifying concentration of multigenerational charisma on display made up for the weak storyline and weird pacing? Because I'm still kind of on the fence about it.
I thought it was pretty charming overall, but yeah, Henry and Millie Bobby Brown alone, jeez.
Also Burn Gorman’s death was SURPRISINGLY brutal

yeah overall the experience was pretty pointless and dumb but it wasn't the worst thing ever. the place was mostly old white men who were terrible people but it's not like they are gonna give you any problems. they might stare at you longingly is all, I had at least a dozen admirers

yes and no. definitely problems with a limited player pool and some people tying too much of their ego into the game and not a lot of capable DMs, but I did have two groups with creative people that were real good.

Jeff did like Kai IIRC, but it didn't lead to a general love of anime or anything. He just liked the one show and that was enough for him. That was a good podcast. The wrestling-ness of it really made it work for him.
speaking of this though that podcast series was real entertaining if you wanna go back and finish it

Anyway I've been through quite a bit in the last year or so, love found and lost, you know that kind of thing. Overall good, and much better than a lot of people in this country, or even on the planet.
