I find just getting to the end of the platform stops it.
This can prove difficult on walk-offs!
I guess this is why those stages are banned from competitive play. If it were possible to break out of the chain grab reliably I think it would be well known.
Cas, sorry for the boot, but I'm trying to get my tourney round going. Good games though. sorry about the time thing, I kept forgetting to switch to stock. And on FD I had to use the phone and talk to a dorm-mate so I was away.
As a person who plays Ganondorf, I really hate projectiles. Pit's is one of the worst.
Would you say it is the pits
Yeah. I don't think I'm ready yet.
To face Pit that is. He finds me to easy.
Man, that's no way to think about it. Face your obstacles. The fight is on!
There's no logic to that. Face your obstacles? If your obstacle is an arrow to the face, you definitely do not want to face it. Your best bet is to get out of the way of that shit, because an arrow to the face hurts.
While I do appreciate the line of conversation we've had, the best way to approach these sort of things is moving right at them while aerial dodging, face to face, head on. Ganondorf can't return-fire-faggotry because he has no projectile of his own to be a bitch with.
Or you take the hits and repeat warlock kick/flame chokes until you make your way there. :P
I always find myself having a rough time breaking open smash balls. Sometimes, it seems like it takes nothing to do it, other times, it's like the damn things just won't break. And this is without the opponents getting their licks in. Are there recommended moves for characters to consistently bust them open? Or is it just random as to how much damage is needed to do the job?

That's a good idea. I try to roll toward Pit, but then I just end up right in front of him while he throws a smash attack. Actually happens with a bunch of projectile characters. Next time I'll air dodge toward instead.

When they first spawn, they take roughly 20% to break. Their percent slowly ticks down by itself.

Whoa, did not know that. That sure helps me a bunch.
So me and a friend of mine can't see each other when we're online, can't fight against each other, but can connect and fight in the "With Everyone" battles at the same time. Any clues?

Next time he won't defeat me.
So, if you're up against a projectile user as someone with no projectiles, you need to prepare yourself?
Sometimes it feels like this game WANTS me to lose. Oh hey, your DK on Lylat cruise system, and your winning? Here, we will give ness 2 bumpers to whack you with and then let him pelt him you with his B moves. Oh, and for an extra touch, we will spawn soccer balls in front of his attacks for a little extra "kick"
So, if you're up against a projectile user as someone with no projectiles, you need to prepare yourself?
Yes. You especially need to take this into consideration, as apparently you have trouble against campy Wolfs. What's the matter, scared?
Falco's can be annoying for me as well, since you can spam it so well, and it fires even faster in the air. He's quick enough to just outrun me and jump over and spam it more some.
I just don't try him, and takes my hands of the controller.

Just for the love of god don't take apart my character select and stage select that took me forever.

When I play as Sonic or Ganon, Pit's arrows and ya-ya-ya-ya moves can suck cock all the way.

If you realized it when you made it, we'd have hated that awful pun.
If you didn't realize when you made it, we'd have called you an idiot.
We love you though for the OP.

You can DI out of it if you're caught within it.

I think it's Directional Influence. Simply hold the opposite direction, and that should get you out of it.
That's usually what I do. And I'm still stuck in there a good long while.

We all got bored with it because it was going on too long and had no organization.

And the reason it had no organization was because you all got bored and never showed up for matches on time.

I've added your code.
Are you.. adding mine?
We're friends, right? Friends that share friend codes.
Right?
Maybe I should just use someone with a reflector, then he'd be a piece of cake.
