I wish wish wish wish the transformers in the movies were less complicated

I mean hooray "look at what we can do with computers these days" and everything but man it's far too complicated to be visually pleasing

you've got to love how Bay said he wanted them to look like that so they would appear more "alien" and then he makes characters with New Jersey accents or stereotypical black youth attitudes

Y'know what I just realized a big reason why the second film felt a lot more violent was all the robot fluids flying everywhere.

I mean did they decide to start carrying gallons of fluorescent Gatorade inside their bodies since the first film or something?

Not that I can think of off the top of my head. Perhaps in the script they have a specific name for it.

Bernie was there, did his duty, and was gone. He was on-screen for the perfect amount of time.

    well
i thought it was kind of a homage to the tape deck transformers seeing as how it was flat, but that might have been looking too much into it

Well I mean they gotta keep lubed up somehow. Machines just can't run dry, it wouldn't work. With that much motion and tranformating and everything there probably is a lot fluid running around in there.

Although that malleable metal thing they said they wanted them to be made out of might kind of contradict that but I don't know!

I meant more along the lines of Bumblebee "peeing" in the first one, "crying" in the second one, and what I felt was supposed to make it look like robot "blood" in the second one as well.

All excellent choices. Totally worth it too, unless you have something really important you need the money for instead, like...maybe if you had to pay a doctor or something to keep you immediately losing all your bones and dying.

But even then...Ultra Magnus has guns on his guns!

Animated Ultra Magnus is pretty fucking awesome.

I haven't bought a Leader-class figure since... uh, since Brawl from the first film last year.

I really want the new ROTF Leader-class Prime but man, yeah, $40... maybe for my birthday?

    I just realized that

I'm not counting the one time I lucked into getting Unicron like four years ago for twenty bucks on clearance at wal-mart

or when I got cybertron primus for secret satans from hunter two years ago

    shit

and man I really want the leader jetfire that just hit, too

    fuck fucking

how big and how much is that jetfire/optimus combiner thing gonna be

    gotta get that, too

I think I kind of maybe want to kill myself

the easy way out is just to not buy any ROTF figures and say it's because Michael Bay gets 8% of the sales of the toys and you don't want to give that hack any more money than he already has

There's no Jetfire/Prime combiner, all you do is buy the Leader Optimus and Leader Jetfire then initiate the Spooning Procedure and BAM Jetfire Prime.

So to answer your question. 80 bucks.

Except that they raised the MSRP of TF toys across the board so Leaders are $45 now, with the exception that different stores are going to be running different sales like all the time.

In fact this week Toys R Us has Leaders for $40 and if you spend over $30 on TF toys you get a $10 Bumblebee gift card. Then there's that Target coupon thing where you get 10% off if you buy 2 toys, 15% for 3, and 20% for 4.

But man I really want Jetfire now. RotF Optimus is pretty damn awesome on his own though.
