I don't think I could've sat through a discussion like that without casually throwing my hands in the air and asking politely "What the FUCK is wrong with you people? Voodoo? Are you fucking serious!? Why don't just go ask Gandalf the Grey what he thinks while we're at it."
Not that I'm particularly religious, but if I were shopping around for one, the first requirement I'd put down would probably have to be, 'any involved major deities can not be defeated by Roger Moore.'

I totally work for my local newspaper and have to read the papers from the 1930s, and every couple of months there's shit alleging "local negroes of hoodoo curses." One was during a trial, apparently everyone went to lunch leaving the defendant in the courtroom with a bailer, and the dude totally gets up and sprinkles some form of dust in all the jurors' and the judge's seats.

I had a voodoo 1 back in the day...well technically it was a Diamond Monster, which is the same thing just with a different name. That card lasted for fucking ever, got me right through to a Voodoo 3, which I still have kicking around somewhere.
I'm beginning to think that jokingly portraying myself as incompetent in the workplace may be good for laughs but no good for anything else.

I'm far too lazy to burden myself with things that are boring, like work. I only burden myself with things that involve lying down or sitting.

I loved Ico, but felt like Shadow really brought some new gameplay to the table. though they are both gorgeous games.
I liked Ico, but I would prefer are more Shadow type gameplay. This looks like it's incorporated the beast climbing bit, at least! I guess all of them had a companion, but Agro was much more useful and not just there as an annoyance/pressure to keep moving.
Also, I hope there are more open world environments. They were just so beautiful in Shadow.
