    Where do you live?

    Castroville.

Getting to a half-way point or the like wouldn't be a problem, but the going all the way isn't really an option.

The D&D session I was presuming would be at Dubh's

and I think the meet-up may be in or around Santa Cruz?

Yeah, we'd do D&D at my house (since it works really well).

Look, someone who actually knows where all these places are and how easy it is to get there needs to sort this out. While this is my thread and kinda going on because I'm in town, the grand total of San Francisco I have ever had the opportunity to navigate is the walk from Gate 24 to Gate 62 while transiting at the airport.

And even then, I still spent 3 hours stuck on the tarmac.

So please come to some kind of consensus about how the weekend works, 'cause my time is free and I have no fucking clue about any of this - in addition to which, I'm a bad pick to organise stuff because I'm basically going to be unable to be contacted for a couple of days while I'm crossing the largest single body of water on the face of the planet.

Personally, I think we should meet up in Santa Cruz because the boardwalk is fun and easy enough to get to.

SF is a big-ass place and sometimes a bit confusing to navigate in.

If you want to take the BART to Fremont, I could pick you up there and take you the rest of the way.

Well, I meant in terms of Mori not having to drive up to danged Fremont, unless he lives in like extreme NE San Jose or somethin'.

there's so much to see in SF though. I was up there two weekends ago and went to like five museums in one day, which was retarded but doing something like going to the MOMA and something else would be more reasonable

Yeah, where I live now is expensive enough as is. Adding a real commute to it 3-5 days a week isn't really my idea of fun, either.

Fremont's BART station is actually quicker for us to get to, we're right by the 680 and that's usually pretty clear

I recently spend several days in San Fran with friends (and spent around $400...) so personally I'd prefer a meet-up elsewhere, and I'm sure Fishman and Mori can explore SF when I'm at work :)

My Brother-in-law and I went to the Monterey Bay Sea Aquarium yesterday, had a fun time with that. Afterwards, we went to Bubba Gump Shimp and ate, tried the Mud Pie shotglass desserts. Man, those things are ridiculously sweet! I had two while my brother-in-law had one. We are going to go back there in the next two weeks or so to see how many we can polish off. I can feel my arteries filling up right now!

We'll give this thread a few more days for folks to chime in and such, though.
