    So, are any other Omeganauts a little mad that they didn't have more time to come up with a good head shot for the PR stuff?

    I ended up having to take one myself (ala myspace), so hopefully I don't look like a total douche.

    Well, not more than usual anyway.

    Totally. I rarely find a photo of myself that I like. I debated taking a basketball and cutting two eyeholes in it and putting that on my head. I ended up doing the awkward "extend the arm and aim it at my face and hope it's framed right" shot. It turned out as good it's gonna get.

    final note, What are the offical Omegathon rules on jenga? Are they okay with touching the blocks as long as you don't move them?

    Yeah, I wish I had a little more time. I basically just set up a makeshift tripod with a chair and some boxes.

    Ok, found a copy of the press release, and yes, that's the list, and it looks like the prize is pretty much the same as last year's.

    Qs23 is legit. He gets the press releases. They didn't send the list to us because THEY HATE US WITH THE FIRE OF A THOUSAND SUNS AND WANT US TO SUFFER.

    It won't be, which is part of the fun in my mind. If nothing else, I'd like to get to Round 3 just to get a chance at playing it before it's released. Still, it should be pretty close to Halo 3.

    They like doing rounds that feature something that isn't available in stores yet.

    2 years ago there was the double whammy of Rock Band as round 3 or 4 (can't remember which, with the awesome round intro of Wanted: Dead or Alive with Khoo rocking the drums in a chic suit) and Halo 3 as the final round.

    Oh yeah, I remember that now. Now I can relax and at least have some hope I'll survive the ODST round (assuming I make it that far).
