Anyone else think of the Guild of Calamitous Intent when Fury was answering to the Council of SHIELD?

I actually thought about that Venture Bros. episode when that scene took place. Many awesome parts in this Marvel masterpiece. Its Marvel's Best to date in my opinion. It was a joy to see in IMAX 3D.
And good god almighty! 200mill this weekend alone? BEAST!
extremis was a great story and everything, but I really like when Tony is just a normal dude when not in the armor

The main criticism I had with Extremist story is the main villain. He came across like a generic terrorist. I can't even remember his name or what he was angry about. Fraction did a better job with a villain using advanced Iron Man tech with Ezekiel Stane in "The Five Nightmares". From what I've read they're meshing and altering possible Iron Man 3 spoilers
Guy Pearce's role whose a mix between a super-terrorist and a scientist.
playing Galaga that Tony Stark calls out. Like the idea that you are in a futuristic helicarrier ready to save the world and some workers are still wasting time playing games and solitaire and such.
It's especially funny since all of the actors, save maybe Ruffalo, were all kept on very strict diets to keep from gaining or losing any weight, since their costumes had been designed to be so fitted.

Also, while I think it would look ridiculous on anyone wearing it as a normal thing, Loki's get up was awesome. Bad-ass, but not 'look, I'm a bad guy, henceforth black and spikes all over'.

I don't think Loki was pulling his punches. We never really see Loki do anything particularly strong and he gets dropped by some relatively mundane things. I think Loki can have a fist fight with Cap and come out ok or be beaten but that killing him would require something special. Hulk can knock him around for hours but as long as he doesn't rip his head off or use a fancy alien blade Loki will be no worse for wear.
