DA:I seems to wrap up my least favorite parts of RPGs in a nice package but everyone else digs it so I feel bad complaining.

The main, like can't get over thing is running around. I don't understand why people enjoy this. You spend five minutes going over here to fight the thing when it could be right in front of you. Or skyhold. God I hate skyhold so much. 20 minutes of running around trying to find everyone to see if they have something to say. It could be a menu that takes 10 seconds to check but people hate menus for some reason.
Story wise it doesnt turn my stomach like the rest but it seems a huge step back to the Mary Sue main character with everyone looking at you and going along with what you say vs some of the advances I'm storytelling that have been made. But again everyone seems to like it.
But the whole thing is I hate when someone rags on stuff I like for the reasons I like it so I try not to do it to other people. I just don't get where modern AAA RPGs are going and would hate if they turn into something I don't like.

I mean, I can see your point. For example, in Valkyria Chronicles, you go to the barracks screen, you choose a name from a list and you can talk to that character. Something I can see being necessary if you have 40 characters.
And another point on your end is that if they really wanted to do it for immersion, why do they provide fast travel points throughout the castle at all.
But in the end, they have things like displays for your tiles. Throne accessories, and other collectable aesthetic things which would be lost to something like a simple menu interface.

I went with a credit union and got a small size new car for less than 20k. My payments are not too much. I did not factor in the jump in insurance required for a new car (full coverage) so that was a bit of a surprise. I have had to put myself on a slight budget to make sure I pay everything and still have money for all my bills and stuff but it just meant that I can't spend frivolously like I used to.

Banks/CUs don't want you stuck with a lemon which would mean their collateral is essentially useless, so that's why they say dealership.
Unlike most of frugal financial gurus here on the forums, I still say never go with a junker. Junker's necessitate the ability to have lots of liquid cash hanging about for emergency repairs. A new car is going to be expensive, so you in particular should shoot for certified used. This means you get a decent warranty if anything major happens to the car, but you're not sitting there hoping you don't throw a rod in the junker category and needing another $5000 just to get yourself out of the gutter.
Certified used is what you want chu, not junker, and definitely not new.
Eh, the cheapest is always going to be under 500 and junk it for 250 when it breaks.
Especially if you can do some simple stuff with junk parts yourself.
When you're a poor, you can't exactly just not show up for a day to junk your car, you still have to have a feasible way to get to work.
People with $5000 just chilling in their bank accounts can kinda do this sort of thing.
Try doing something like that with $20 in your bank account and your car won't start today.

One of the things I like about Persona 3 Portable over the original (aside from the new female Main Character and the manual control of party members) is the change from "running around locations" to "access the conversations through a menu and point-and-click". I definitely wouldn't mind if the "hub stuff" used this model, or something similar. The very first time you enter a location, you may want that sense of exploration and wonder (which is the main reason people like some of the running around), but in locations that you visit a hundred (even a thousand) times in a gameplay, you want that experienced streamlined. The war-room stuff felt like it was streamlining toward that direction (where you still get great party banter and story, but you can view things at a distance through easy-to-use menus), but they put the War-room so far away from the fast travel point. Really, they needed more fast travel points in Skyhold and Haven.

I don't expect anything mind-bending or filled with intrigue or genre-breaking novelty. When I walk into a donut shop, I want a donut. When I play a Bioware RPG, I want a cliche fantasy romp (and it's okay to like cliche fantasy romps!).
The ending boss fight, though, was a big disappointment for me, especially since it's so short and only involves your main party of characters. I know it's difficult to create something like the suicide mission from ME2 or the last mission from DA:O, but I would have preferred something like that.

so i financed through the dealership at some really low rate, and my bank ended up buying the loan. it was really a really strange roundabout way to get my car financed through my bank.
Having a stable working car gives me way more peace of mind than worrying about car payments each month. I kind of love it. It's lame but like, its my vehicle, and I am paying on it and there is a weird pride in that even though its very classic American Dream BS. But I get it. I can see why people like owning a house as well.
I grew up driving junkers that caught fire regularly and required gallons of oil to run every month so I have a v different set of experiences than people who were given like nice used honda accords or whatever. :P

The amount of room left to overtake is proportional to the speed of the traffic, and the riders hang back at points where a pass could potentially put them in conflict with other traffic (pinch points, junctions, filter lanes, traffic calming). Passes are executed smoothly and decisively. Filtering through queues works because you're not actually slowing anyone down, cars pull away in the same group they would otherwise because the bikes are already gone.
There's also an element of the fact that drivers typically have a distorted view of the risk involved in certain manoeuvres - there are a lot of things you can do safely on a bike while giving yourself loads of room to abandon the maneouvre if the road situation changes, that nevertheless look dangerous to someone unfamiliar with them (which I suspect is somewhat the case here).

I ate a panna cotta for the first time this weekend!
It was fairly bland and I'm not a big fan of the texture.
The rest of the food was p rad though.
had some porkbelly that was fried up.
Portions were hella small though because "Fancy restaurant"
We had a table in a wine cellar room. Which was kinda cool. Very nice atmosphere and it was nice not having any other diners around us.
But the best part were the cheesesteak spring rolls that we requested off menu because we're classy as fk.
