I'm always amazed people like the draenei. I was way more interested in them when they were "just" the broken
The Broken are interesting, but as I joined in on Warcraft way late my only exposure to them was questing through the marshy part of Outland (after having played some 65 levels as a Draenei).
Also I'm biased towards satyrs for what should be obvious reasons.
I think they are more interesting visually than the current iteration of draenei. I dunno the draenei as they are now are just so boring
Based on Hearthstone, Tyrion is def the WC paladin they'd go with
Jo is a pretty solid paladin tank as-is though, and Uther does the healing piece, with Tyrael doing the dps piece, so I don't really see a spot for Tyrion

He can do any three of those, but with a different kit. Why do you think we can only have one tanky (or healy, or dps-y) paladin?
I would like a Draenei ret paladin a lot. Yrel would be good for that. They could use the paladin class leader guy for a tank, but that's going to end up really similar to Johanna.
Yrel would be my top choice for paladin DPS. With recent expansions, they have given the Retribution kit enough new toys that they could throw together something fairly unique that wouldn't have any overlap with the other paladin-type figures in the game.
I would also like to see Prophet Velen in HotS, but not as a Disc Priest. I want them to use Prince/King Anduin as the Disc Priest. And when I say Disc Priest, I am talking about the healer version from a few expansions ago that was very shield heavy. Anymore, Disc Priests are basically "holy mages" and I think a Holy Mage would fit Velen nicely. They could build a kit around Atonement healing and all the Archangel stuff.

I don't think Tyrael touches the DPS side of the paladin at all, especially with the awesome we can have with bringing the Ashbringer to HotS and lines he could have with Arthas.
I wanted to assume Velen too for Draenei but if they want to bring Anduin, they have to make sure they don't step on one another. As mention, Disc priest and leave Holy for Anduin?
Follow-up: Priests in WoW and the overall Warcraft lore are diverse enough that they could easily squeeze 3-4 characters out of all available abilities, and all of them would be strong kits.
I want to see a Shadow priest - the Forsaken would be a good choice here - with a Darkness/Madness kit from the recent Legion Shadow overhaul. In recent times, Shadow has been associated with the Old Gods, and new spell effects have taken on properties of tentacles and other eldritch type imagery. And I'd love to see a Forsaken Shadow Priest cast some tentrils of doom, and all that business.
Disc Priests as they are now are pretty universally loved from what I have seen (even from the mass shield version people). Not Holy Mages really. But rather active/battle healers who need to both do ~tank damage and heal to provide aoe healing and shields.
That would work so much better in hots than mass shielding disc.
Let's be real, blizzard needs to release a new hero everyday for the next year and maybe we will near an appropriate amount.
Honestly I am enjoying their slower release schedule because one of the things that got me here in the first place was League of Legends fatigue.
I agree. It's just thinking about the number of heroes I want to see a representation of (and I could settle for skins for some) is just staggering. Kel'thuzad is a big deal and I could easily see him get bumped to like 2019 or farther because there are so many to get through.

I was totally on board with everything he was doing. They just made me switch sides and oppose him for dumb gameplay reason. I wanted a Horde powered by the black blood of a fallen Old God, and mantis friends. He wasn't even that racist, he had goblins!

He should have a fun kit if he comes out though. Bound to be some bleed in on characters but he would be a ranged mage or assassin of ice type that lays down ice explosions and summons legions of skeletons.

I don't really care that Ball Lightning is in the game, if we don't get Chain Frost I'm going to riot.
I almost expect there is the resurrection issue as well and overlap with xul. It'd be cool to have a transformation at level 10, so he is a necro until level 10 then he is a lich. For reference because I can't help but talk about Warcraft 3:
Necromancer
Raise dead - summon 2 skeleton warriors (or 1 warrior and 1 mage) from a nearby corpse. Potentially autocast.
Unholy frenzy - huge attack speed on the target, but target loses health for the duration
Cripple - target has reduced move and attack speed plus reduced damage
Lich
Frost Nova - heavy single target damage with additional aoe damage and slow whoever is hit
Frost armor - target gets a frost shield that provides armor and slows melee attackers who hit the target. Potentially auto cast
Dark ritual - destroy a friendly unit to get mana
Death and decay - channeled aoe damage
History
Kel'thuzad was an archmage in dalaran that delved into forbidden magic and eventually traveled to Northrend after hearing the call of the lich King. Anub'arak escorted him to the frozen throne where he found it wasnt quite the deal he was expecting. He ended up becoming the leader of the cult of the damned and then was killed by arthas. Ultimately after arthas became a DK he resurrected kel'thuzad in the sunwell.
As mentioned kel'thuzad was the final boss in naxxramas (twice). Lich phylacteries tend to make them more difficult to address than initially expected.
I really hope Frost Armor is a part of his kit. HotS does not really have anything like that at this point in time, and so in that regard it would fill a unique space.
In fact, I was thinking about it, and there are a lot of buff and beneficial-effect types of spells that they haven't really touched at all. Heals and shields are really the only form of friendly-team player interaction. There's so much more they can do to allow players on the same team to interact with each other.

He's a lich.
In Warcraft 3, the lich toolset was:
*Frost Nova: an extremely potent AOE nuke /slow
*Frost armor: buffed armor and debuffed enemy movement and attack rate
*Dark ritual : sacrifice friendly unit to gain mana
*Death and decay: AOE Painfield that damaged everything within its radius, even buildings, for 4% health per second.

Kel Thuzad was the end boss of one of the hardest ever raids... the last of the original old school raids before blizz started going down the eaZy mode path in Wrath.
You are skiping over like multiple expansions here.
Kel'thuzad was end-boss of Naxx which was the last Vanilla WoW raid that nobody ever saw, then there was TBC, then there was WOTLK where he was the end boss of the first raid at release, then it wasn't till the end of Cata when they released shit like the Raid Finder.

Nah I remember fine. But that argument is old.
KT 1.0 was of course what I referencing and he was a lot harder than the later iteration. He had a lot more lich style abilities on him then.
Edit: Ohh they gave Guldan some insane regen imagine if KT had Chains of KT as one of his Ults. Short MC where the player doesnt directly control the players MCd but instead they act as heal bots to KT.

There's a whole expansion between even what you are claiming was "easy mode" that has never been defined as easy mode by, like, anyone.

Its an old argument and OT here I suppose. But even blizz said Wrath was dialed back too far in several places later on.

They do have the attack speed debuff.I know rexxar and Misha still get it, although it has changed over time and now has an active component. not sure if there is anything that pairs that debuff with armor though.

Most of the revised tank-ability interaction is raw -damage instead of slower attack speed though Xul and a couple others have it as well.

No, I meant literally between Original Naxx, the last of old school raids and where you claim they went down the past to easy mode is an entire expansion with what have generally been considered to be some of the hardest raids at the time they were released.
But nobody really saw original KT anyway and he's best known still from WC3.

I guess I was more talking about the buff side of Frost Armor.
Kel'thuzad gives Frost Armor to a teammate. That's a buff. And I was saying that HotS doesn't have a lot of buffs. Mostly (and yes, there are exceptions), your interaction between two players is either A) a heal, or a shield. And I guess there are some friendly auras too. But there's a very clear and open space where they could do a lot more with buffs between friendly players.
I'm not talking about the slow component of when an attacker hits someone who is wearing Frost Armor. I'm talking about the act of giving Frost Armor.
You know what would be fun to have is Mimiron as another Lost Vikings type player with each body piece.

The really hilarious part about Kel'thuzad and Kael'thas both being "KT" is that shortening one to "Kel" and the other to "Kael" is still prone to confusion, especially when you take into account yelling and different accents.

It's not actually. Only Diablo has a unique version of Imposing Presence afaik. And even he has the passive -attack speed component. It's just his active version has -20% damage instead of the -attack speed and slow that everyone else has. Mostly because he's got the slow on another ability on that tier and slow is really powerful on Diablo.
ETC, Johanna, Leoric, Muradin, Rexxar and Sonya all have standard IP which is passive -20% attack speed and active aoe that is -50% attack speed and 20% slow.

This is wrong, apparently I play too much Diablo.
This is where I bring up the recent swap in armor-types on Pixie Dust, I think?
But yeah, it's a pretty rare ability function.
There are some things that grant armor. Off the top of my head I'm only thinking of Uther that grants armor to other players. Granted it's tied to heals.

Pixie Dust from BW and Safeguard from Morales.
