For as big of a turd as TJP was in his personal life, I didn't hate him in ring or on the mic. Kind of felt like a blander AJ Styles situation where talent and lack of like actual "crimes" covered for being a hateful dumdum.
Gotta do more than just be "ok" and coast with a roster that stacked though.
The thing about TJP being a shitty red-piller is that he is a great wrestler. He's always been super polished in the ring and can have great matches, which I don't think he ever did in WWE. In early PWG shows he was always there doing great work, but not really doing anything of note since he was so young, but eventually he got a more prominent role and bigger matches.
And then I saw him on twitter being an MRA shitbag and it just ruined everything about him for me. He had a shitty life before wrestling and overcame that to eventually make it in WWE, but even with that success he had this chip on his shoulder about feminism for some fucking reason. Sorry some girl didn't want to fuck you growing up TJ, but that's life. Grow up.

Plus I love the idea I have in my head that Flair and Barkley are real close friends because they share the same financial advisor.

worth remembering, not that I doubt anyone here doesn't, that it's amazing he's alive not just for his lifestyle and the general dangers of wrestling, but the fact that he was literally in a plane crash. just ridiculous.
are they making a movie of HIS life? that seems way more compelling than hogan. plus it can have a happy ending via charlotte's success whereas hogan's should end with the revelation that he's definitely a racist.
