I'm at the point in Deathloop which is classic me, I know exactly what to do to reach the end, but I refuse because there is sidestuff I want to figure out first.

I love what GOG stands for, and I've bought a lot of games from them. Including stuff I already have on other platforms. But then, I'm basically their original target demographic. I love old PC games, hate DRM, don't particularly care about the social features of a games launcher, and don't use streaming services.
As for trying to appeal to a whole new generation, who obligingly shell out each month for their on-demand libraries of dull games, intolerable music, unwatchable movies, and insipid TV shows...

Why not? The game is damn good. And it's not a surprise - it was announced back when the remaster was.
. . . So if I really dug the original game, I suppose I want to wishlist the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, then? I just assume this expansion is only for the re-release and not the old version.
Edit: this is where I grouse again about not being able to add specific versions of a game (in this case the FATE Edition) to my wishlist instead of just the base game.

Unsighted is growing on me quite a bit, the story and gameplay complexity really gets going the more time you put into it, and the soundtrack has some great ambiance tracks.
The platforming is too much for me. I just keep getting angrier at it every time I slide/jump/slide/wall-run/wall-run/wall-run/MISS THE FUCKING ROPE... It's just not fun and the proportion of platforming to fighting or puzzle solving is skewed. Also too much backtracking.
The story is great so far and I'm sure it goes places, and I love me some Star Wars. Alas.
Is there any fast travel on Fallen Order? I remember hating the backtracking in there while looking for doodads too. I knew where I wanted to go but the prospect of spending 15 minutes to get there only to find that I was still missing a needed ability was too much for me.

True. But they'd be more useful if the map wasn't hot garbage. Seriously, gamedevs everywhere: stop with the fucking holographic maps and similar shit. Cyberpunk also has an obnoxious "thematic" map. One of the most important thing a map needs to be is readable, and this shit fails.

This is one of the most tedious, least fun survival games I have ever played. Having 6 hounds raid you on day 11 and just have no possible hope of fighting them is just beyond dumb.
I have even read a guide and we cannot get the fortunate set up to survive that. I have no idea why this game is so widely praised at all.
