Because I'm pretty sure that it wasn't beta tested, there are a few glaring problems.

So I maxed out Archaeology earlier today. And got the Fossilized Raptor mount.

I feel like maybe I need to go outside and get a life or something.

I spent a bit of time at the weekend doing this archeology thing. I don't really understand how this can be thought of a worthwhile addition to the game, beyond adding a way for people to get RNG vanity items some of which aren't any good (guild mate got an item which transformed you into a wisp for a whole 10 seconds, and it has a 10 min coodown).

Fishing I've never found fun, but at least it's got a point in that it helps you level up cooking.

As a sidenote, one guy in the guild was saying they'd buffed the speed of this profession (you get more relics when you dig them up now).

I've not tested to see if that's true though.

Let's no go there, less we all realize that at its heart, WoW is nothing but a waste of time dominated by RNG.

Well done. That's exactly what I'm saying.

In no way was I saying it was dull, doing exactly the same thing (playing a game of hot and cold), over and over from 1-525. That maybe there could have been a bit more variety with regards to what else you can do to level up this profession.

It's not as if I cited fishing where you're again doing the same thing, but then pointed out that I can see why people do it because it helps with levelling up cooking.

Or cited a slight lack of imagination on some of these items.

I don't even know why you're talking about BoA.

It's not a difficult, might I add, secondary profession to level. Actually moving around to do it makes it infinitely more entertaining than fishing ever could be in its current state. Blizzard can add a lot to Archaeology in the future with little difficulty, and on top of that it's a ridiculous way to gain XP. While I was around 83 I would gain nearly 30k XP per fragment.

Ugh. My guild is a small group of friends, who don't really have enough people online to pull together a heroic run. So I'm left with pugs. And nearly every time I join, it's a group who have failed on a boss so many times that I don't even get a chance to say hello as they all drop group.

The good news is the queue on KJ has dropped from 3000 people to 1000. Which means a half hour wait instead of 4 hours. Mainly because most of the people who renewed can't even do the heroics.

I forgot to check the tooltip after seeing this. What was the stacking effect doing? I'm assuming it was making mana flow like the Nile or something.

Azeroth flying is only about 250 gold. The 310% upgrade is the one that costs 4-5k (depending on your rep with the faction you're buying it from.)

I xfered over to alliance side with about 300g. Just questing alone I made about 4k. I'm waiting until max level to get the 310 speed.

My problem is that I liked healing before the change, and now I'm worried. I'm not especially talented and I feel like I shouldn't even bother because everything's so tough now.

I had no intentions of getting the 310 flying. Just didn't think it was worth the amount of cash for a 30 percent increase.

That is until I saw how much case I was making in Cataclysm. So I bought it at lvl 83 (as I had already made close to the 4k needed since I was exhaulted with Org). And a little more than a week later I'm back to the same amount of cash I had before I bought the flying.

One big perk - between 310 flying and the guild movement speed bonus, if I ever find myself in a mining dual with another player I'm usually going to hit the nodes quicker.

That it? There are several of us in the Altoholic category around here.

    85 druid, 82 shaman, 80 mage, 80 warrior, 80 priest, 80 paladin, 80 Deathknight, 72ish hunter, 64 rogue, 60 warlock.

My problem is, I hear about something cool and think "oh, I should level that." Like when someone mentioned the rogue smokebomb skill the other day. Then I remembered all the other crap I need to do, skills I wanted to try, specs I wanted to play, professions I want/need to level.

Then I got sick and tired of farming ore to level engineering and spent close to 3k gold getting engineering maxed: down to 15k gold.
