Yeah undead burg up the stairs seem to be the beginner area. Also I keep putting down white signs but no one takes me up on my offer to help unless there's more to it than that

So somehow 1-1 in my Demon's Souls game was dragon-less, which is weird because I thought that only happened when the world tendency was pure white, and it certainly wasn't that

anyway, I got to loot all them bodies where the dragons were, and got that sweet purple shield

and then I was heartbroken because I don't have the strength to use that shield, which looks like it'd be super handy against those asshole fat ministers

gotta pump up my strength, I guess

skipped the gargoyles by going straight to the blacksmith then down to the forest of assholes

now I'm up at the gargoyles

Uh so maybe I'm missing something obvious but how do you leave messages? Or rate messages? In Demon's Souls it was select, but now that opens the gestures menu.

There's an item that you have to buy, this time around. Which is actually kid of retarded, but it's only 100 souls. I bought it from a vendor in the 'burg. You gotta smash some barrels, then get down into this area and go through a house to find him. Hella confusing yo.

Edit: Also god damn I hate the 'burg. I am usually doing good, killing zombies a couple at a time. Then the game suddenly goes YO DAWG I HERD YOU LIKE ZOMBIES!!! and those motherfuckers are swarming me from everywhere.

How long ago did you order? Did you still get it in time to get the free CE upgrade? I just preordered it Saturday (no CE sadly) and it came in today.
