feelin guilty about only playing lackey lately so i bought 3 packs of mtg15, caught me a nissa
and in more good news I might have actually found a fnm place that's doable both right after work and for the time being while i am vehicle-less, so that's neat

I bought a 3-month subscription to LootCrate, which is a similar service - without the Magic focus, just general "nerddom" - as a birthday present to myself.
Honestly? It's pretty cool. It's fun getting surprise goodies once a month. Like this months crate including a neat Groot Bobblehead. I feel like I've gotten my value so far.
Whether that's true of the magic one remains to be seen.
Should be pretty bomby in limited, as repeatable Overrun effects tend to get the job done. It's not quite Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, but you probably don't really need a creature bigger than a morph to make this do work.
I want to say Khans is going to be super power packed to make up for what we're losing. But it would be super interesting if it was just a nice mellow synergy set.

edit: just saw he had a deck tech so im looking at the list. 4 yisan 0 walkers md sounds kind of not so good

I went to SCG's site and since it wasn't super obvious I immediately gave up.
I mean his whole gameplan is to untap yisan a bunch but that's a little too cute imo
Seems like a fun kitchen table deck, though.
Not specific decks, but archetypes.
monsters is pretty much a block deck as is, and is probably where im going on rotation. bug control is similar in terms of block completeness
most other current archetypes are relying heavily on new cards to fill gaps
