S1/2 of TNG were downright atrocious. Basically anything after Tasha left was pretty alright.

Tasha didn't even survive the first season.

For some reason I remember her going on to like 2 or 3?

Hm oh well, I guess I didn't pay much attention to the first 2 seasons at all then.

She shows up on rare occasion, in a flashback, time travel, or clone episode

    @Blameless Cleric @Shivahn @Neco

Started playing CK2 as the Count of Leon in Brittany, Count Ben of the family Arwhal.

Had 3 wonderful daughters by the time I was 45 - Bleric, age 12, Shivahn, age 10, and Neco, age 6.

A year later, @knitdan Knitdan, a male heir, is born, immediately disinheriting all of you.

A year after that, Count Ben keels over from the stress of ruling, and Count Knitdan ascends to the throne at the age of 15 months.

    ...

    Well played, Knitdan.

I like that DS:9 actually recognized the federations flaws as being flaws, there was disagreement and debate and criticism of their utopia

because the concept of a utopia is nonsensical, even in the culture books there is believable political disagreement and those are people who can whine enough and get their own planet

I'm just saying the Maki were right...

Well the Maquis were right in the same way an arab terrorist would be right if he listed all the horrible things the US has done, but then when he drives a bomb truck into a school it kind of doesn't matter how right he is

They got every single civilian under their protection killed by making them think they could win because of the validity of their cause

edit: again I appreciate that the show was aware of this and Sisko kept arguing this point with Eddington, one of my biggest pet peeves is when the protagonists are wrong or assholes and the writers seem completely clueless (see: Atlantis, Star Wars Prequels)

Chads always seem cool at first.

But then they're like, "Yeah bro, let me borrow $20m on this bond issue to fund a commercial zone redevelopment."

And then they dump it all into an energy drink startup and garcinia cambogia MLM schemes.
