Like even if they decided they couldn't "carry" you, they can walk away without being assholes. The entire point of offering a carry is to make a players experience better. To then be a dick about it is just awful

Ocean of Storms, Moon Fallen Devil Splicers are intent on using SIVA technology to experiment on the Hive. Stop them from stealing an abomination from the Summoning Pits.
Modifiers
Solar Burn - Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
Specialist - Special Weapon damage is favored.
Ironclad - More enemies have shields.
Exposure - Guardian shields are increased but do not replenish.
Daybreak - The Darkness grows stronger, and so do you. Form a fireteam of three and unleash your Light with greatly increased ability recharge.
Post was pretty clear, they wanted to help someone get to the Lighthouse who'd never been. I'm not too hurt by it, I was prepared for the worst, but I thought I'd at least get ordered around and then get called bad and kicked. To basically get ignored and then kicked was just weird, like you guys said why even make the post? I don't think you can play an extremely team based mode like Trials and then not give someone you've never played with any clue about what you're going to do or where you're going to go and expect to be successful.
There were a couple of guys that tried to 2v3 us and I did get an easy mode wrecking ball out of that for the book node, so at least that was something.

As great as it would be to see the Lighthouse again, you can take pride in the fact that you've been to the Lighthouse before, no carry needed.

@Peen maybe @patrkslayzy23 can hook you up with the kind folks who helped him reach the Lighthouse a few weeks ago. Anyone who can pull off a carry these days must be hella good.
And you're definitely not bad. On one of our first cards, you, me and mosssnack made it to 7 on the card. If you got into Trials earlier in Year 3 you'd probably have a couple of Lighthouse visits by now.
Yeah I looked those guys up, one guy's been flawless 15 times but the other one hasn't ever been so their offer of help to strangers may have been ambitious.

I'm fairly sure I'm not going to come close to some of those achievements in Destiny 2, which looks to have a very different PvP.
The 30 kill streak game was a Rumble game, and I was helped by the fact I was able to dominate one bit of the map (Firebase Delphi) and consistently get the Heavy Weapon ammo spawn.
The Best Single Game Kills (43) game, I'm not 100% on; it might have been Skirmish and I was the only player on my team, i.e. it was 1vs3. I believe Hawkmoon helped a bit here. If I remember correctly, I still lost that game.
Peen, if people offer to carry a rando to the Lighthouse and aren't capable of actually carrying, that's not on the rando, it's on them. It certainly doesn't reflect on the skill, teamwork abilities, etc. of the rando (you). Most of the people still playing D1 PvP are playing constantly and are hardcore finger-twitchy l33t tryhards, so it's going to be harder to luck into a genuine carry, and you should try not to feel bad about what those idiots said. I know it's hard not to take that personally, but... they clearly weren't capable of carrying (and if one guy has never been, uh, that person is definitely not qualified), and that's not your fault.
Also, you're not bad, so... just take solace in the fact that they were frustrated manbabies and that you weren't exactly holding them back.
Responded to an lfg post saying that they were looking for someone to carry. Got in, played two cards, they didn't say three words the whole time, they wanted fresh cards after one loss both times, and they called me bad and kicked me out of the party. Feels bad man.
Nupio and Onmu were the two guys that helped me and they said they would be happy to help any of my friends. They communicated, were laid back and fun to play with. Just name drop me as the noob Titan they helped get to the lighthouse for the first time at 3 am a couple weeks ago. You could also message My Chances or Optimize Skill - they both run with a good carry partner and try for carries every weekend. They're also really nice guys. And anyone else in our xbox clan looking for a first time lighthouse run can message them, @Vagabond.

That's funny, I actually messaged Optimize Skill last night but I think someone else got there first. I don't take what happened personally at all and I appreciate you guys being cool about it. It's a high stress environment and when everyone's trying really hard it's frustrating to lose, I don't exactly blame those guys for being mad. They just handled the whole thing poorly.

haha, it's a small sherpa world I guess. Every "sherpa" I played with was really nice so it bums me out that you had that kind of experience...If doing a "carry" stresses those chode jugglers out so much that it makes them toxic then they should stop trying to carry. I was in groups where we had some pretty epic fails at 8 wins and the two sherpas had more than enough reasons to rage but we all ended up just laugh-crying about it together, gathered our composure and tried again. There are plenty of good hearted guardians out there, don't give up.
