Overcooked 2 is pretty amazing and if you're not playing it with your friends I don't know what you're doing.
That's not to say you're doing something wrong, it's just that I'm not invading your personal space and investigating what it is that you are presently doing. I'm not an asshole like that. I just assume you're playing Overcooked 2 and if I'm wrong, then that's okay, jeez, no need to get all excited.
Anyways, my wife and I were playing it last night and we had a blast. The characters and music are too fucking cute for her to resist, and since she's a bakery chef, she just loves bossing me around.
Me, I love taking chunks of meat and throwing them from a hot air balloon.

Yeah, I played a bit of it last night. It's fun to get to play this game with online multiplayer finally.
Granted, the online component introduces a bit of lag and floaty feeling movement, more importantly: The host, @CorriganX had to force-quit the game twice in 25 minutes because a level was hung on loading at his end.
I spent quite a while browsing Conan Exiles mods last night. Always looking for cool new stuff.
Then I found that there's a mod that "adds physics to the female private area"...
...
No, really. This is a thing someone did...
Uh. So I have some questions.
Meat drapes.
I believe it's more of a situation where you can have a hotdog and a bun, too.

Love playing it with my wife because we actually synergize a lot. We more or less see the production working in the same way and were have no problems shouting orders to one another or even doing thing before the other one needs them.
Then one day we had her brother and his GF pay it and, well... it was fun. On our end. :P
We're going to fire up the sequel later today, haven't tried it yet.
There was a well written and researched article about everyone having different parts and wanting game characters to reflect that.
Most games/mods featuring vulvas only had "innies" as the article put it. A similar conversation was had about phallic body parts ultimately reaching that more options makes more people happy

Honestly there's no reason no to be as inclusive of every potential form of anatomy as we can possibly be.

Also, I went ahead and downloaded that mod. For science.
The part in question is definitely an "outie"... and the physics applied are exactly what you think they are.
That said, it's a beautifully modeled outie and I am super impressed with the mod on a technical level. This is the work of someone who should be doing meshes on a professional level.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly how more options help in this case. I mean, just the thought of having to click a button to decide if it's circumcised or not is just... too much. My brain can't process that.

To be fair, the game has a high-level option to enable or disable nudity as a whole, so if you don't want to be choosing those kinds of customization options you don't even need to see them.

Distance is finally being released after like 5 years of development. It's similar to San Francisco Rush 2049 and is a great micro-car racing game.

Trackballs in general are awesome. Don't need a lot of desk space but still have full range of motion. Good for righties or lefties. And it keeps the damn kids away from my computer because they're freaked out by it.
I don't care that much for the thumb-ball trackballs like your M570 though. I don't have the responsiveness in my thumb that I do with my fingertips.

I used to play Counter-Strike: Source with a trackball, before I knew better and got a mouse. I was surprisingly decent with it! Still not anywhere near as nice for FPS's as a mouse, though.
Freespace, what a great game. Freespace 1&2 and Tie fighter were amazing. I wonder if there will ever be an official remastered version of Tie Fighter.

I should get around to those. I have a flight stick and they're on my backlog.
I used to play FPS with ONLY a keyboard. I did NOT do very well. Granted, this was back when Quake 1 was new. I forced myself to learn to play with a mouse in Quake 2.
But my key config...I didn't change to WASD until the last 8 years or so. My old config you might find ridiculous:
KB:
< left strafe
> right strafe
/ jump
R-Shift walk backwards
Mouse:
LMB shoot
RMB walk forward
I realized lately that I've gotten worse and worse at shooters over the years. I blamed it on getting older but now I'm starting to wonder if it wasn't because I changed to WASD and my old config is just in my bones. I only switched to WASD because I got tired of a having to redo ALL my keys when I'd get a new game, and often many games wouldn't let me bind what I needed.

Years of using keyboard only controls make sticking with them at first understandable. Having not played an FPS since the Build engine games, I tried the Halflife 1 demo with keyboard controls and didn't do so well. Heck, I remember when Star Wars Galaxies came out and a lot of RPG only people on a forum I hung out in back then struggled with the mouse aspect of navigation.
And WASD wasn't fully standardized early on in the early days of mouse look. A lot of setups for keys that seem strange today were used back then.

The first game I played where I finally shifted to WASD was Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Of course, that was my first PC game since the era of Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, and Star Wars: Dark Forces. Games had changed a bit since then. I was also only using the keyboard with those older games. I do remember playing a 2-player deathmatch in Doom 2 over modems around 1995 who kicked my ass because he was using mouse and keyboard. He could turn much easier than I could,

But still man . . . How?
haha...I thought, "finally someone who understands" until the last line =p.
I have no IDEA how I settled on those keybinds. Also, when I was first switching to a mouse, I used another button to turn on mouselook because, while learning it, having it always on was a nightmare for me. I'd have to hold down left arrow to be able to look around, then when I let it go, my view snapped back to center.
THAT had to go very quickly.
Man, I remember when you had to roll the mouse forward to move forward.
That control scheme sucked.
Yeah, that was probably my primary resistance to trying a keyboard and mouse setup early on. I did try it, and in Doom it meant doing that. I thought it was stupid.
