There were a few small things I liked. I liked that they did a gifted program plot where the point wasn't the tired, "I was a gifted kid and it fucked me up!!!" point that Twitter has run into the ground, it was that it fucks up things for the kids not in the gifted program, which is sort of arbitrarily decided.
I think they're using the cameras correctly also, which is: they gave a reason why they were there early on, and then they only call attention to the fact that someone is filming this when they have a reason to mention it, and handwave it when like, characters are possibly describing crimes
The sig image will return when I stop playing "Mature" games. Unless I never stop. Oh god, what if I never stop?
And then a great little interview with the guy who made it where he talks about how/why he made it, the little easter eggs he dropped in, etc.

Oh and I should say that I only watched Patriot because of @tynic banging the drum for it for months? Years? But yes, Patriot is great.
I highly recommend it generally, but especially for folks who dug Severance. It plays in some of the same thematic sandboxes, but with (for my money) more wit and soul and surprise.

Yeah, that's the episode that really won me over on Quark. While he never really becomes a totally different person or anything, he definitely has some wonderful moments sprinkled throughout the next few seasons.

I've been liking Halo pretty well. So far they're pretty clear on the "yo what Halsey and the UNSC did to these kids was fucked" thing.
Fun fact Walter Koenig plays the detective sergeant at the crime scene and is uncredited.
Very good writing & performances (only 2 episodes in so far), but a lot of snake and dead-snake imagery.
This clip is exactly what I was thinking of when I made that post.
I think this was the episode where a lot of the stuff the show is tackling has started to coalesce. Mysteries are moving along, characters are starting to have some actual internal motivations, lots of things in motion. Still not great, but enjoyable, and I see a decent amount of potential in what they’re doing.
