Big Sam hears the siren call of a club about to go down and will apparently be installed as the new Leeds coach.
Maybe they could just automate this kind of thing. Have Sean Dyche, Roy Hodgson and Big Sam in some sort of waiting paddock until the last quarter of the season and then the bottom three clubs draw lots for who gets which of them.
2 of those games are against City (away) and Newcastle (home). Then West Ham, and Spurs, and while the latter have been all over the place, they might be playing for something on the last day.
I'm not really sure of the point in getting a new manager at this stage, and not handing it over to an assistant manager or U21, unless it's a complete and utter trainwreck at Leeds.
Saw that presales for the Man Utd. v Arsenal match in NJ in July went up this morning and managed to grab a few; it was pretty insane watching them disappear in realtime as I tried to quickly assess if there were any reasonable options available.
My 71 y/o uncle is a lifelong United fan who’s seen them once or twice before, but never at Old Trafford. While I’d love to bring him to a match there, seeing them in an away match, even a friendly in the States, is at least better than nothing for now.
Hmm, Infantino is threatening to withhold the Women's World Cup TV rights from Europe unless European networks increase their bids. He claims they're offering around $1-10 million, about a tenth of what they bid for the Men's.
But I don't mind, as long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine,
I'll be fine, just give me a minute, a man's got a limit, I can't get a life if my heart's not in it.

Given how bought in England was for the Euros, that seems like a fair position. But as the article points out, the games are in New Zealand. So the timezones just suck. Kickoffs at 930 and 1200 BST.
Which I hadn't thought about from the states, but those would be kickoffs at 430 for the East coast and 130 on the West coast, so not even 'stream it at your desk' hours for us.

the viewing figures for the women's euros was less than a tenth of the men's euros (365 million cumulative vs 5.2 billion) and the time zones are going to be atrocious
i'm no businessman but i would be shocked if bids did go much higher

The women's euros last told the same story. Yeah they sold out most games but they were playing in smallish stadiums for every match apart from the opening game and the final.
Arsenal - Wolfsburg was in front of 60k people this week.
But the broascast numbers are international. Are there numbers how the distribution of viewership for the Euro across the globe? Like I have to admit I don't know the state of women's football otside of Europe and the US.

It's official, Leeds have begun operation Big Sam.
I look forward to them avoiding relegation on the last day of the season, fucking somehow.

In the meantime, the Women's World Cup supposedly allocated seats almost a month ago, but I still haven't received updates to my tickets to let me know where I'm sitting.

All of the backroom staff will be very keen not to make eye contact with Levy incase he gets any ideas.

Apparently it’s not the first time that flags made an appearance, they had it in their away end during Europe too
