how much is usually OK to spend in this thing? I know more than 10 bucks, but what is the norm range would one say? I participate in another SS and the range is probably 10-20, but it seems here like people spend much more (which isn't a bad thing, I don't really have alot of other people to buy for this year, just the wifey, my mom, stepdad, and aunt) so I'll have plenty of cash money. I just don't want my santee to feel gipped.

I think the average gift package is around $35. If you want to feel like you're in the mix with everyone else, aim for something like that.
Other forums don't sticky theirs, and let's be honest, this thread will get enough traffic that it won't need it.
ODaM stickied theirs, plus two months is a long time for a thread to stay on page one on G&T, considering it is the highest traffic topic. But again, it's just a suggestion.

I'm in on this. I love gifts and I love giving gifts.
Entirely inappropriate is ok. Do not send me weaponized anthrax and/or hallucinogens. I own mostly Nintendo systems (Wii, Gamecube, N64, DS), though I do have a Sega Game Gear (currently MIA). I (stupidly) sold my Gameboy color so anything Gameboy related will make me cry.
Gift does not have to be gaming related at all. A broken 3rd generation iPod would be quite nice, actually. I'm a sucker for worthless electronic novelties and Nintendo merchandise (I'd never buy any myself, but I'll treasure it for years). I'm a computer engineering student.

Yeah, that sounds good, but it also just depends on the person. I know if I have a little extra money laying around, I'll be as generous as possible! Hell, my roommate recieved the Special Edition Mario Cart DS, last year.
Through no fault of my Santa last year, I never got my present.
I always do love giving the gift, though.
I guess I'll say: I'd rather not have inappropriate gifts, but wacky, random, interesting gifts are totally okay. Doesn't have to have anything to do with video games at all; just choose what you think would be cool. If you really do want prompts, though:
I am a female, t-shirt medium female or small male/standard. I have a Wii and a DS, but I buy all of the games I want for them. I love the Zelda, Metroid and Phoenix Wright series, but I have most of the merchandise for that last one; I don't have much in the way of toys for the first one, and the only items I have of the second are the manga books and the plastic Zero Suit figurine. I love the DCAU, especially B:TAS and Batman Beyond... and funnily enough, don't own anything in regards to them.
The 1967 James Coburn starred in the film, In Like Flint. This was a sequel to the 1966 Our Man Flint and presumably the screenwriters, on the lookout for another 'Flint' phrase, opted for a play on 'In like Flynn'. There's now some confusion between the two phrases and some use 'In like Flint' as if it were synonymous with 'In like Flynn'.
I truly, honestly don't know how I'll be able to top the gift I sent last year -- a personalized painting of oneself drawn up as a zombie -- but I'll see what I can do.

What about me... I've got a Wii, a DS, a PS2, and I just got a slim PSP. I'm a big Metal Gear fan. I like reading, but I'm not into anime or manga (though if you've got the best anime ever omg you have to watch this I'll look at it).

CaptainK is excluding people so he gets more gifts. Greedy bastard.
Im sending him a lump of coal, and not just any old coal, but like a half ton slab from one of our abandoned coal mines. That said Ill probably carve it into some ungodly figure of the devil or something and set it on fire.
I'm totally in for the first time, unless my email is wrong, in which case I'm not totally in.
Should be fun!

I'm so in this. I love random geeky gifts. I got a ton of stuff related to bacon last year, because of my tag line. Maybe I should change it to "I love Korean whores" or something like that...

So in.
Last year Amazon did the "Give us your money and we'll never fucking send it" thing, and said it would ship in early January. Then when the day came, they said it would ship in March. Which meant I had to do some detective work on the wish lists to just find my santees' again.
So, in short, sorry it was late last year Santee, I'll do better this year.

In like Flynn.
I hooked Lavaknight up though. I got him a wii base stand kit thing.
I like giving gifts so it wasn't a complete bust.
Get it?
