Hey, I was set back $100 today while buying a power supply for my computer since my last one broke. My job's not doing well in these cold winter months (architect's office) so I'm effectively jobless until the weather warms up and I still haven't gotten my plane/hotel reservations for PAX yet (I have the tickets for entry).
So what I'm saying is please take a bunch of money and hire someone to kill my rich grandparents so that they'll leave me my inheritance and I'll totally be your slave for a day!
So what's the hotel situation at PAX?
There's a reduced rate for PAX-goers. I don't know if the floor thing was ever worked out. If only someone on the boards had a shit-ton of money and could rent out an entire floor of a hotel building for a few of his internet acquaintances...

My mother lied to me the other day. She woke me up at 7:15am and told me that I needed to be ready because "unlike you, most people start work at 8am and the carpenter is going to come this morning to fix the bathroom door."
So I got up, all groggy from being up all night the night before working on an assignment for my online class. I showered and dressed and ate breakfast and basically woke myself up. Guy didn't show up at 8. He didn't show up at 9 either. He showed up at 10:30, when I would have normally have already been up and about anyway.
Moms are such liars dude. For serious.
Don't trust her Veretas, she's just going to tell you a different amount tomorrow.
