The lighting in this game is absolutely gorgeous. It is the best looking lighting I have ever seen in a videogame.

The flare looked so great. Light seems to be the main thing about this game. Looked like a Fatal Frame style lock on too.

That video looked pretty neat and it seemed like the was playing the game just fine. I think it shows more rather then some demo of a dude whos played it nonstop and had god mode on like a few other demos out there.

I also realized I know nothing of this game. Just remember it being announced and PA going crazy for it and the Max Payne guys making it and all I ever saw were screenshots going OMG teh grafix! But its got me a bit interested now

Still, unbelievable the way games were announced back then and I think developers have learned the longer the game is out the higher the expectations will be.

Checked wikipedia. If the info is correct, it was announced 4 years ago. It will be about 4.5 years once it releases.

    Still a wHile.

I've only wanted it on the 360, but yet again I feel awful for the pc only players out there. I have a few guesses in mind, but I wonder if there's any other reason to do that than to try to force people into getting 360s.

Wait what? When Alan Wake was announced it was shown off primarily as "Look at all the cool shit directX10 can do! Ooo quad core processors!" and was always hyped up as a big dx10 thing and now Microsoft doesn't want it on PCs?

Microsoft Game Studios and Microsoft Games for Windows need to both get their fucking shit together.

    Totally missed the point.

Halo was originally announced by Steve Jobs, shown first a Mac convention, and was going to be on Mac and PC.

Then Microsoft bought Bungie and brought it to Xbox and PC.

Is there no chance that it'll come out for the PC at a later date, or were they pretty adamant that said figurative ship had sailed?
