I never thought of it as being stubborn at the time.
There were definitely kids who needed a lot more help than me. I was completely self-reliant in that class, most of the time because it was math homework, and math and science are my best subjects. The rest of the time, I didn't want to pull them away from the kids who really needed the help.
And my papers all came back OK, so I didn't worry about it too much.
this is round three for calculus 3 for me, technically
on paper its only the second time ive taken it, but i got a D in calc 2, then had the same retarded teacher for calc 3 and failed it. so over the summer i retook calc 2 at a community college in dallas, but it was the exact same material for calc 3 in oklahoma.
and that teacher got fired and now i have a male teacher for my second attempt at calculus 3 and im soaring though it. male math teachers are way better that female math teachers.
the infinite series exam we took for that first class, 3 people passed and the rest averaged about a 37% on that test. but this time around this professor is much better.
my calc professor is (or was) awesome, before he went away since his wife had a baby and we got Boring McStereotype dude to replace him
he had black chalk he'd use to write on the wall above the chalk board when he ran out of space, because he didn't want to erase anything and nobody behind the first row could see the bottom of the board

it's really easy and short and i don't care if it's good
i just don't want to do it.
i have 5 dollars and i can suck a golf ball through a garden hose
because as soon as i log on i am admitting defeat and my paper doesn't get written at all
at least this way i still get some work done
1). Evaluate integral ((sqrt(9-x^2))/x^2 dx)
let x = 3sinO where -pi/2 < O < pi/2 then dx=3 cos O dO and sqrt(9-x^2) = sqrt(9-9sin^2O) = sqrt(9cos^2O) = 3 |cosO| = 3cosO
note that cosO > 0 because -pi/2 < O < pi/2
thus the inverse substitution rule gives
integral((sqrt(9-x^2))/x^2 dx) = integral(3cosO/9sin^2O * 3cosO dO)
= integral(cos^2O/sin^2O d0) = integral(cot^2O dO)
= integral(csc^2O - 1 dO)
= -cotO - O + C
My excuse is I don't know if I have an msn id anymore.
I never have used AIM.
Oh yeah that's way easier to remember

Your face.
so if x = 3sinO, then x/3 = sinO
so you draw the triangle and figure out the cotangent
i just hate it
if i had hulk abilities, trig would be the trigger
seriously, fuck them.
STEAM!
well, when you're doing calculus with trig it is a thing
now you're thinking with portals
infinite series are the most fun thing ever
but i had this english-as-a-second language teach me over the summer in a way that itll stick
plus he pronounced it subibisitution :^:
STEAM!
I got an 85
teeee heeeeee
he is the nicest guy in the world
he uses phrases like "oh my goodness" in a heavily accented voice when he can't find a working marker or messes up
i would say he is like a black, male, ethiopian tfs

are you basing this on the one bad female math teacher you've had?
because i've had some wonderful female math teachers that actually taught it very well
it fascinates me
whoops

it happens to the best of us
same with <3
i really have no reasoning behind it, it just behooves me to call them girls every so often

i have never had a good female math teacher
STEAM!
we were talking about maths
how do you explain that?
South Dakota is exhausting. But I'm taking the brother out for Taco John's tomorrow.
