As much as I hated BFA as Horde, the leveling experience had nothing to do with it.
All 3 zones were perfectly fine.
Even if it turns out you effectively failed in all 3.
You don’t stop the coup in Zuldazar.
G’huun still rises in Nazmir
You don’t prevent the rise of Mythrax
you do stop the coup in Zuldazar, Rastakhan isn't done in until the alliance attacks later. Mythrax gets released in Vol'dun but you do stop the bad snakepeople and save the good snakes and the fox people. In Nazmir you do mostly just set the stage for the raid and the big blood troll-zandalari battle at the end of the leveling story though.
You lose the top of the pyramid in Zuldazar, Rezan dies and Rastakhan is forced to take the deal with Bwonsamdi.
Mythrax leads the attack on Zuldazar which helps free G’huun completely
those are not the same as the coup succeeding.
Rastakhan was nearly killed and had to be evacuated from the city. Literally the only reason the Horde player can still stay in the city is that they needed you to be able to since it's the capital.
yeah he evacuates and then comes back after he recovers and you help him kick the traitors out, a coup succeeding implies the ruler is deposed! if he stays in power that's a failed coup! this is a trivial thing to argue about but words mean things damn it
Meh, the leader is exiled, he still has troops, but his powerbase was effectively destroyed and what he has is propped up by the Horde. When you go back into the city to deal with them, you find out the hard way that the coup was never intended to be permanent, it was intended so that it'd make it easier for Mythrax to destroy the seal.
Edit: in hindsight:
This may be colored by the order the zones are done in. Zuldazar first (which also spoils part of the storyline in Vol’dun) means you spend a long time with Rastakhan away from the throne, while Zuldazar last probably flows better with the final quest line.
Probably should go Nazmir>Vol’dun>Zuldazar for best flow and story progression.
Wow, im surprised there arent more things out there saying you can just sit in av mindlessly killing people and level up during the korrack event. I went from 102-110 in one AV. granted it took a while and its probably way better xp to just end the bg quicker one way or another.
Also don't hand in the quest to kill the troll guy until you are 120, then you get a good starter weapon. I got a 400, but I forgot to put on all the benthic armor first, dunno if that would have pushed it higher. If you are having trouble getting a troll kill in the BG, fly to Northrend and do the Ampitheatre of Anguish quest chain, you can kill him there and it counts.
So i hit 120 on my dh winning av. Then went to zuldrak to kill korrak and then queued up again so i could turn in the quest and leave. I literally zoned in got about 10m from the turn in and we won... like sure ill take the conquest but i didnt want to sit through another 20 minute queue to get a sword.
But i did get 2 characters from 110-120 today really easy. Just gotta get my horde priest leveled too and im basically done leveling until shadowlands, unless i decide to level a warrior or hunter.

My main right now is a Holy Priest. I'm very comfortable with that spec, and for heroic raiding every week in Eternal Palace, Holy Priest is a very good spec for me and my guild.
However, I've been playing my paladin lately. In Legion, my paladin was my main, and I tanked with him. I don't tank anymore and I don't really have any desire to do it again. But I'd like to maybe get my paladin dusted off as an alternative healer for alt runs in normal, or future needs. The problem I have is that I don't think I "get" paladin healing. I've done it. And their single target seems strong. But coming from months of experience as Holy Priest, I cannot even begin to wrap my head around how a paladin would heal a raid group on certain fights such as Za'qul, or Lady Ashvane, or a few other major raid damage fights in Eternal Palace. I guess if you're a paladin healer in that situation, do you just have to trust the other healers in your raid to take care of the ranged players and overall massive raid damage? Because I can't comprehend how a paladin healer would be able to heal up a raid the way I can on my Priest.
My guild doesn't run a paladin healer at all, so I don't really have good numbers to look at to compare. But I'm really just trying to wrap my head around what my role would be if I were to start raiding in Eternal Palace (or Ny'alotha) as a paladin.
The answer is basically just Glimmer of Light. That is the paladin's raid healing. It's enough to keep people alive, but maybe not topped off. Other classes can do that.

Yeah, the Glimmer of Light / Crusader's Might build is basically the only way to play holy paladin right now if being competitive is the goal.
So I've been researching the Glimmer build. Seems like it takes a lot of up-front gearing before you even become viable. Is Holy Paladin really in such a bad place that they aren't raid viable unless all 3 of their Azerite pieces have Glimmer on them? That seems like terrible class design that should have been addressed a long time ago in a patch. I cannot think of another spec in the game that is that night and day based on Azerite traits.

Elemental Shaman. If a piece doesn't have Igneous Potential, it goes in the shredder.

You can probably be in a raid without glimmer, but you'll be doing about 40% less healing then you could be.

There are a lot of those traits for different specs. Thats one of the many reasons it is a garbage system. If they follow through and give back class abilities and get rid of ap grinds the next expansion will be great. Having some shitty cumbersome system where you fight rng 7 different ways to get gear is such a turn off.

Rank 3 of Zandalari Alchemy recipes gives a chance to create additional items with each craft (i.e. each discrete use of the materials), like the Potion/Flask specializations of old. Those capped out at 6-7 extra on a good roll though, apparently these cap out at 19 extra.
I just pvp'd against a Destruction Warlock who I interrupted 3 times and each time the spell finished without issue and no lockout occurred.
Is that something Destro can just kinda do (seems unlikely), or was that really bad lag on that person's end (or l33t haxx)?
I think at least the default interface and most moded ones will show the cast bar differently for when something is not interruptable. If you use default nameplates, the bar turns grey and has a shield next to it. That is used in PVE for mobs casting things you can't interrupt, but the same is true in PVP for the fairly numerous ways many classes can get temporary interrupt immunity.

Man. I've completed the Legion class quests up to including getting the mount as a Paladin, Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Rogue, Demon Hunter, Warrior, and Death Knight done. I have Priest, Monk, Druid, and Shaman left. And boy, is this grind ever feeling grindy at this point. The class hall stuff is fine, though the time gating missions are annoying. But doing the Broken Shore campaign over and over again is feeling a wee bit monotonous at this point.
I have the upmost respect for the people who did it in Legion, without 120s just one-shooting stuff. And I understand that they also needed Exalted with Broken Shore? Gross.

I want to fuck around with my shadow lands boost in battlegrounds... What is the most survivable/least tunellable BG healer right now
Paladin was horrific in legion if it's paladin you'll have to explain why

Druid has the most tools to find a way out of a bad situation, but the only literally not tunnellable healer is going to be Paladin. Simply because they have an outright immune. But Paladins are mostly sitting ducks due to poor mobility options.
Once again I feel the need to bitch about how unbelievably shitty the implementation of the Mission table troops was. I am frequently having to send melee troops on missions not as a counter, but just to get them killed, because I am typically inundated with them while completely unable to get another ranged/mounted troop that I need to counter a Cursed/Increased Duration mission.

ah yeah I think I did Vol'dun-Nazmir-Zuldazar
When there was combat I dunked myself on Sintharia with killing spree as I did not know her hit box is below the cliff
The funniest would be the 10th anniversary Ragnaros.
SURPRISE SMACK crunch!
