How do you effectively use wartrukks and razorbacks?
Do you use them like a movable machine gun nest? Can they even suppress infantry? I use them a few times, but they're so clunky that it became a chore to move around.
Most of the 40k universe is depicted from Impreium POV.
Cause Orkz don't really keep records.
Tyranids just eat people.
Eldar write books but don't tell anyone about them.
Dark Eldar stick dicks in books.
Tau write in jiberish.
etc.
So I had 3 games of 3v3 with some guys on vent, not sure what their forum names are. It was awesome anyway, we lost the first game pretty hard and then we won the next two pretty convincingly. This game is really fun and i'm glad there's no base-ing.
Knockdown at the moment seems a bit over the top, I mean yeah i've been enjoying knocking people down left right and centre, but it's obviously too powerful. Especially because one squad of terms or horms, I can't remember, were attacking my exarch and he was literally knocked down as soon as he stood up, it was so bad I could never get a teleport off and he ends up dying to it.
I've yet to see a squad fall back from my banshees as well. They're lightning fast (and they should be) but they knock em down every second so they can never get anywhere.
Overall though, it seems like it will be worth buying when it's released.
I took my 4 squads and ran endless circles around the other eldar player who was in the south. I think he was a bit taken back when I destroyed his wrath lord without taking a scratch and from then on all he could throw up were some guardians and warp spiders.
It was a bit like being an engie in TF2, everytime he came back i'd put my shuriken platform in a different place and had the banshees waiting to jump out of a hedge. I like how he got 3x my rank points despite clearly being awful though.

I don't get the obsession with 3v3. It takes me forever to get a game. Part of the problem, I guess, is I rarely have the patience to find people in vent to play with. Everyone is always already playing.
Edit: However, that doesn't chance that I don't see what's better about it. Usually it's just an exercise in frustration as I wonder why my teammates take those objectives, when the other ones closer to their base, etc. I don't see the added strategy.

3v3 allows me to do retarded shit like make six ranger squads and pick off commanders while not worrying about winning

Listen to our podcast, read our articles, tell us how much you hate it and how to make it better
whats wrong with vent? its certainly better than the built in GFWL voice system
I remember reading how the death spinner/harlequinn's kiss worked in one of the stories in the Eldar codex back when I used to play TT.
It's the most awesome weapon ever, it's cutting their internal organs up into tiny pico-slices and then a few minutes later they realise they're dead.
I never asked for this!
It's because they can't find someone to lag out on you before the game even starts.

Also: Does the retail version REQUIRE steam to be installed?
Who the hell are the good guys?
Whoever wins that also has historians, typically.

More like Tzeentch hoards all the books. :P
Slaanesh really enjoys books.
I'm sure she/he has a first edition printing of the Karmasutra at least. :winky:

That and probably the handbook to torture.
Just had a pubbie game with Seppah which we lost because our pubbie didn't leave the base, just ran back and forth.

1v1 can suck my ass
Just get them the fuck away from walkers and brightlance teams.
Here is the replay I definitely think its worth a watch, a huge variety of different strategies were used. But more importantly stuff exploded.

I will join that bandwagon

Take it over a walker any day of the week.
I guess it costs less, so that's a plus.
