Oh good I'm not alone on golden wind being meh, at least as far as...I guess very minor spoilers if you absolutely don't want to know anyone's power before you see it?
They just got done with greatful dead and fishing pole guy on the train
And it's all...fine. Some of the body horror seems better this series? I dunno, I at least cared enough to hate polnareff, and everyone aside from the kid I LOVED in diamond is unbreakable. Okuyasu is the fuckin purest and bestest and Bucciarati is a chump in comparison. But everyone online was all "golden wind is the best!" and just...maybe that set the bar too high?

I think it's an enjoyable show that I'd recommend to people who I know wouldn't mind it.
My only additional statement is to just accept it at face value. Whatever your hottest of take surface level reading is of a scene or whatever is? Probably right. There is no deeper reading. There is no cowardly subtext.
So I tried Mob Psycho 100 and the only version avaliable on Funimation is the dub and for some reason I am bouncing off of it hard. The english voices just don't really match the extreme cartooniness of the show, which is a bummer because otherwise I think I would like it.

Kaguya chapter 247:
Whelp, pain.
It's obvious this was coming but it still hurts. Seems like Kaguya's family is forcing her into a political marriage and keeping her prisoner in the main house. I know she's a prisoner for narrative purposes, but IRL can a family keep an 18 year old child locked up for the child's safety?

Can they? Yes. Is it legal? Probably not.

I couldn't get into Jojo 4 or 5, manga or anime. Part 6 was my favorite in the manga, and so far the anime is pretty great as well.
I have no idea what an adaptation of the second half of Part 6 is going to look like.
Part 6 is my least favorite, potentially for the same reasons other people like it? (spoilers for the whole thing)
I feel like it spends a lot of time with Jolyne and friends being confused about exactly what the enemy stand's powers are, and while this also happens in the other parts, the powers in part 6 are all really abstract and hard to get to grips with. "Stand That Makes Stuff Out Of Fire" or "Gun That Fires Intelligent Bullets" make sense, but the whole bit where the enemy can cancel out gravity and then that makes you suffocate? Except that now we can make spacesuits out of clouds, but the clouds aren't affected by gravity the same way that the air is?
Or Diver Down's just plain changing what it does partway through, or the whole business with the priest and varying powers; even the will-be-interesting-to-see-what-they-do-about-copyright section is confusing because the way to win is "convince van Gogh to make a painting of you winning"? And the business with 'dio's bone lets you go to heaven or something like that' is not as clear as it might be.
But maybe that's what people like about it, it does feel a bit like just taking the battle-as-puzzle stuff from (edit)previous parts and taking it a bit further, it just felt like it went a bit _too_ far for me.
Yeah Tite Kubo is a fantastic character designer, hence why I've been happy to see him getting work on other peoples' projects like the most recent Sakura Taisen

Honestly, the concept that was put out in the recent one-shot
That the Guardians of Hell are the spirits of dead captains unable to be allowed a peaceful death
looks interesting. Not to mention that it would be nice to see the characters interacting more as adults.

I feel like he only has a few designs and he keeps reusing them...
We have now defeated the first season of Nanoha. It was not as risqué as I remembered it being, but there were still a few moments. Now that I look it up, I think I might've been mixing this up with Day Break Illusion.
The second half of the season definitely swerves more towards what the series is better known for. From what I've heard, the next season is slightly more hype, and then the next one after that is where it really takes off.

Yeah the dynamic is the dad is a spy who had to get a family as a cover, the mom is a government assassin who works for the opposite state the dad does and neither one knows the other’s secret BUT the kid can secretly read minds and is the only one who knows both of their secrets and hijinks ensue.

Oh well, I'll keep it for next time.

Woah! Such dedication... ! Truly the mark of a master poster!
is a dead anime.
By "dead anime", you mean one that has finished airing, right?
Right?

I don't know, you seem pretty excited about it, you tell me!
You should absolutely give it a shot. Within a few episodes you'll know if it's for you or not.

No spoken dialogue at all, either.
I feel like this may be one of the bigger ongoing series that somehow isn't officially licensed yet?
bleach ops are almost universally slappers
I had at one point the Orange Range album the first (i think)OP came from. It was good.
