Etrade and my company do some book keeping thing where if I sell stock options, they withhold exactly the right amount AND it appears right on my W2 so i dont have to do anything whatsoever. The first year I diligently filled out like 20 special investment income forms at the behest of turbotax, and then painstakingly helped it match those things to the amounts listed on the W2 and taxes already paid.
It took hours and was a roller coaster of thinking I was gonna owe tens of thousands before finally it all canceled out.
The second time I sold stock I was just like lmao nope no stock sold here nothing to report just my regular W2 go away turbotax please never again.

In his long explanation thread he seems slightly baffled at why he said it. I think the answer is that social media gives lots of people brainworms of one kind or another.

I have to temper my hatred of Fallout 3 and 4 so I don't sound like a nut from No Mutants Allowed from back in the day
I actually loved the idea of first person Fallout, it's the total lack of creativity in the story and clinging to the basic aesthetic that ruins the Bethesda games for me
Like for example it feels like just a bunch of stupid contrivances that you'd see Super Mutants in such numbers in the Capital Wasteland given their origin, but can't do Fallout without em I guess
It's not like it's a completely bankrupt concept of a game but the more I think about Fallout 3 in particular the more I dislike it
